Un concept de restauration original à la carte, des burgers avec des gaufres maison à la place du pain accompagnés de frites fraîches, de copieuses salades, des cocktails et de magnifiques glaces côtoient une importante variété de galettes et de crêpes su
Order taken with patience and consideration; my French is limited. Delicious main served on good time. The desert was delicious, too big for one so sharing was essential.

this is a small well run restaurant with daily specials on the wall and an engaging and enthusiastic front of house / waiter . there were 4 of us dining and we had excellent food well prepared and well served - you will need to book as I estimate there are only 20-25 covers.

In the heart of the Loire valley you will find this noble 18th-century mansion with its French garden, its flower park, its 19 comfortable rooms and bright dining rooms. Jean-Pierre and Jean-Marc Lozay offer a warm welcome to their guests.
The vegetarian dishes offered as part of the demi pension menu showed a complete lack of imagination. The main course on the first night was just a plate of roast vegetables and on the second night the starter was a plate of melon balls, radishes , papers with no dressing or attempt at presentation, folded by an omelet that I could have cooked better myself and would have had for breakfast.

My partner and I ate here last night and it was truly wonderful. I can not recommend it enough. Small menu three options for each course but extremely well priced at three courses for twenty euro. We both really enjoyed our meals and would love to return some day in the future. The cute little restaurant had a fantastic ambience and the service was second to none, the two waitresses were wonderful. This place gets very busy though so would definitely recommend booking. We originally wanted to eat here on the Friday night but they didnât have any spare tables. By far the best place out of the three places we ate in Tours!

The restaurant is run by catering students so the service was a bit hit or miss, but they did try their best. The food was nice. Had a prawn ravioli starter which was tasty and well presented. The main course with fish was also really nice. Reservation is a must as this place is very popular and busy. They accept group reservations. They had a good choice of wines and the students were very polite.

A thoroughly delightful and slightly bohemian feel small restaurant which delivers handsomely.During our dinner, we appeared to be the only non locals at this obviously popular venue which is slightly hidden off the main boulevard but without doubt worth seeking out.The set menu was reasonable value for the quality.Reservation seem essential but regrettably not available on line which is my only criticism.

We came into Tours to see an exhibition, and took the opportunity to celebrate a birthday with a return trip to La Roche Le Roy. We knew it had acquired a new chef after the previous chef sold up and retired. We were not to be disappointed. We both went for the reasonably priced business menu for lunch, a terrine starter, fish for main and an amazing "rice pudding" for dessert, all excellently cooked and presented. We were a little surprised to be given a menu in English, but on reflection we do look very English even if we have lived in France a long time and our gastronomic French is pretty good (though we still struggle with the grammar!) The meal was accompanied by an very good half bottle of Menetou-Salon, and the service was superb and faultless. The restaurant may have lost its Michelin star when the old chef (Alain Couturier) retired, but good luck to the new chef (Maximilien Bridier) in his new venture and I am sure that will soon be corrected.Dear Customer, Thank you very much for your comment, it was a pleasure to welcome you at La Roche le Roche as always. No worries, French grammar is difficult and even some french people have issues with it. It will be a pleasure to welcome you again, maybe with a new Michelin star and menus in French. Best regards,La Roche Le Roy

We came for dinner whilst staying at a nearby hotel. Service was good as were the crepes, although I felt the rest of the group's galettes were better value for money than mine. I had the special which was lovely, but a tad dear. The kids loved it.
