A chef with passion, dedication, eye for detail, perfect in its preparation. Does not overshoot the current techniques used by the modern chefs, keeps it surprisingly simple but original, flavors well balanced, classical setting, nothing fancy. So we went with a group for a dinner, let the chef decide and got delighted by the variety of appetizers and dishes. Wine choice was a bit below expectation, not really in line with food but than again, we paid a reasonable price, in the city centre of beautiful Hasselt. This is a great place to come, you get fair quality at fair price, still showing the skills of a talent that shows dedication.OInly thing to improve: if you have ambition and you show this passion, as a chef, come and say hello to your guests to get complimented, you deserve to show yourself.

I was there with my girlfriend and another couple. We liked the simple and modern environment. Diffuse lights makes it also cosy. We explored basically all the menu, from aperitif, entrée, main dish to dessert. Quality of basic ingredients was excellent, cooking was perfect, amount and presentation very good. What I liked the most is an uncommon craft in structuring the tastes, which in my opinion makes dishes unique. Quite a few little ingredients in small quantities make each bite of the dish different than the next, as if you could make a little journey in the ideas of the chef. To be tried to better understand :-)

As a coffeelover I am always on the lookout for new coffee bars. Their newspaper review triggered my curiosity. A nice establishment with a very beautiful terrace... so I went for a terrace seat.Had a normal coffee and a french press Cuba bean. The last one turned out to be a delicious coffee. Lots of different cakes, coffees available and a lunch menu offering a wide variety, vegan included.Very friendly owners... Hoi gv46,Dank u voor de leuke reactie.Fijn dat u er van genoten heeft.Tot een volgende keer,Nicole & Dirk

This is a nice little restaurant near Hasselt. A restrained stylish décor, tempered lounge jazz music, correct and friendly service and most important : good food. We had a 4 course dinner (with a small sorbet between 2nd and 3rd course), prosecco aperitif with appetizers, 1 bottle of tasty white Burgundy wine, 2 bottles of water and coffee for â¬137 for the 2 of us.

We organised my 70 birthday with family and they arranged the whole restaurant to accommodate us. Great food, great wine and excellent service. Wijnrank assisted us to make it a memorable day, never to forget. Kids were no issue.

So sorry to say this but we were there last summer with some friends. We all apreciate good food and a nice atmosphere. The teracce overlooks the parking lot, the service was rude and unexperienced and the food wasn't something to write home about...

We are kind of "regulars" in this restaurant because of the good atmosphere, good quality fresh food and the good wine. The chef and his wife, who also serves in the restaurant know what it takes to please the customers. I definitely recomend this place!

A pleasant restaurant with part inside and part under a very good demountable extension. Friendly service. Plenty of adjoining car spaces. The restaurant has a varied menu, my favourite dish being the mussels which are cooked in a sauce of your choice. Served in the metal pot with a pile of fries on the side, in the Belgian tradition. The beefsteak is also very good and even spaghetti eaters and children are catered for! Each day there is a new dish of the day at a reasonable price. Recommended.Closed on Mondays and also closed on Tuesdays out of the summer season.

4th visit now and we had a perfect lunch once again. Went for the 5-course set menu and were very pleased with all dishes, as well concerning the presentation as with the harmony of tastes and flavours. Nice winelist with some interesting very affordable wines. Friendly staff and owners!
