Lunch cafe serving $9.95 plate lunch specials! Delicious home cooking at a great value! Our $9.95 special includes a tea, green salad, entree and dessert in a laid back casual atmosphere.
I have traveled and dine out everyday for 25+ years in several Countries and most every city across half the U.S. I found this Rose Garden place and consider it a real hidden gem in the town of Elmwood, Louisiana. This facility is so nice and is usually a place for wedding receptions, events, and catering...but recently they started offering daily Lunch specials for just $10 and open to the public. I highly recommend this place for a full meal, whether it be for dining in or take out. The Staff is very helpful and friendly. You cant beat this type of quality and atmosphere for a local lunch. Thanks Wes for this amazing review and all your help! Hope you get to stop by sometime when you come back to town

Get the eggs in brioche! Mmmm! Staff is super friendly, and the food was warm and fresh-tasting. There's a small outside seating area where we enjoyed the lovely weather, but you can also eat inside if you want. Only downfall is the parking. There was construction when we went, so we had to park around the corner in the residential neighborhood, but it wasn't far away at all.

I always order my cakes from here. They do an AMAZING JOB. I love the crawfish pot cake they do. Also they have great chocolate turtles, and sweets! I highly recommend.

I'm a longtime fan of La Madeline and, although I usually frequent the one on St. Charles, this is a good location as well.I stopped in for my usual- a bowl of their delicious tomato basil soup which, paired with bread, is pretty much the perfect meal. It was as good as ever and I lucked out because there wasn't much of a crowd on the evening I was here.My one complaint about this location is that the parking lot is awful. There is one way in and one way out, and if you miss your chance to turn in, you are pretty much screwed. In fact, all of the parking lots in this little area are bad, but I digress. Just have your wits about you, when you get here because if you miss your turn, you're done.

The former 1910 pharmacy in the neighborhood has amazing history turning our excellent chefs in the last 30 years and it can be experienced. It is so Nola that it does not even need a sign out front. The quality and service was impeccable and would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a NOLA dinner experience that is not touristy!

Excellent breakfast, reasonably priced and the service was super! We had a selection, omelette, eggs with salmon, and the fried pancake balls. The grits were as good as we have ever had, even in Texas. Small place but worth a short wait.
