Tony Foreman and Cindy Wolfâs uptown eatery features classic French Bistro fare, an extensive, award winning French wine list & a lively Parisian atmosphere.
This is truly a world class French bistro. A richly flavored Vichyssoise started the meal. Then the richly garlic flavored escargots were swimming in a delicious sauce, ideal for dipping the excellent bread. I then shared the whole roast chicken for two. It was wonderful-perfectly prepared, juicy and tender. Excellent frites accompanied it. We followed this with a lovely selection from the cheese cart, and a sinfully rich chocolate pot de creme rounded off a memorable meal. Added to that is a pleasant, efficient, and very knowledgeable staff and you have a memorable meal. We thank you for joining us at Petit Louis Bistro and for taking the time to post such a kind and detailed accolade. Your compliments to Chef Scanga's cooking and to our knowledgeable service staff mean so much to us. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

We moved out of the country July 2018 after having lived in Ellicott City for 25 years. Tersiguels was always our go restaurant for any special occasion. Even Sunday brunches. Always delicious, staff always super kind and attentive.

I stumbled upon this bakery while out fixing my cell phone and I am glad that I did. I needed cupcakes to celebrate my mother in law's birthday adn this place, open on a sunday, did not disappoint. We had gotten 3 different flavors (carrot, yellow cake with choc icing and white cake with vanilla icing) at $1.25 for a cupcake was a value. The frosting was good--not heaped too much to where it overwhelms everything and not too heavy or sweet that you wonder why they are trying to overcompensate. We have all had those cakes. This was a nice balance on the frosting and I was impressed with that. The cake was a little dry but overall fine. They had, at least, 12 different types of fancy tea cookies ($8 a dozen) and cakes, danishes and full cakes as well as brownies, canolis (1.75 each), and napoleons all for sale. Definitely a good place for me to keep in mind when I need a cake or dessert for an event. I wish I had found it sooner!
