Lovely ambiance. The staff is friendly even to those, like me, who do not speak French. The bartender knows how to make a real Negroni. (bonus points!) Phenomenal produce in the mixed salad. Entrecote that would rival a top steakhouse in Chicago. I'll be eating here every time I return to Yverdon.

Strange restaurant, from outside it looks like a pizzeria and in the dinner room, atmosphere is more traditional and kind of cosy. Meat is really good, tender and tasty.

This is a strange place where staff is friendly but food is definitely not the main focus... not sure they have something homemade ... Meat on a hot plate is not really cooking and therefore you expect the fries and especially the sauce to be homemade.... answer is no... everything is industrial... the only homemade sauce (garlic) was over burned and too salty... So many real restaurants around, donât waste your time and money !

Have eaten here often with associates and friends, and the food is always just right. True, it's a bit expensive, but I can't fault the freshness nor composition of the bistro-style menu. There's always a touch of creativity too that I appreciate. Relaxed and friendly. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the remarkable cobble-stoned square.

We went here following a business meeting, with our local host. The service was excellent throughout (helps to have a native speaker). The menu is great with some lovely fish and meat dishes (especially steaks). I had the lamb and it was superb! The wine list is very good too. The absinthe dessert was pretty special and kept me warm on the cold and wet trip back to my hotel. Definitely worth a try.

We came to discover this place and ordered the daily menu, it was ok but nothing really special...If you're in the area, why not otherwise not worth the visit. The service is very particular limit unfriendly...

We have been there twice, always happy with the food and the service we received. Meat quality was excellent, and the foie gras with caramel sauce was absolutely divine. One of the best restos we have tried. Service is good, the place is very clean, highly recommended.

On the docks of Grandson. A very good restaurant that has been recognized by the Gault Millau guide. It's a bit gastronomic so the prices are above the average. Our plates were very good and we will visit them again. And the fact that you're on the lake just adds value to it. As you can then digest walking on the docks. The decoration is very eclectic with a big black horse in the middle of the room. To be viewed.

Very good food , limited menu in the evening - 3 of the main dishes offered were fish. Quality can not be faulted , service is good if a little stiff and formal and the atmosphere and interior of the restaurant is somewhat sterile and not up to the standard of the cuisine. The pictures on the walls should be replaced please.!! Definitely worth trying but the pricing is not inexpensive about CHF 120 - 130 per person. The evening we were there it was really quiet and therefore unexciting which removes some of the enjoyment one might have if it was nearly full and buzzing. However the food is good enough to ensure the survival and continued existence of the restaurant where the wife Maryline is the chef creating some noteworthy dishes.

Finally, fresh food done well and reasonably priced in Switzerland,. Chef Christian Wiehe creates an abundance of flavors worth the trek up the hill from Yverdon les Bains to the Castle in Grandson. The outside terrace is divine. Our last lunch featured an apple upside down tort to die for.
