It was a special occasion and friends took us here for breakfast. One of a line of similar-looking establishments looking out from the hilltop, and certainly not a cheap one. Petit déjeuner complet included freshly-squeezed orange juice, a selection of viennoiseries, tartines with butter and (thin) jam, café crème, and the 'surprise du jour': sliced peaches. All pleasantly served in glorious surroundings on the terrace. Not a quick fuel-stop, but the place for something out of the ordinary.

Dinner on Friday evening with my wife in one of our favourite restaurants. There are some 20 tables making this an intimate yet buzzy experience. The delightful and charming Emilie always gives a huge welcome and Julian her husband and the chef serves up the most delicious dinner. The chocolate and pear dessert was to die for.Bravo comme d'habitude et merci mille fois!

With three MICHELIN stars, five toques and a 19/20 rating by Gault & Millau, La Vague dâOr invites guests on a magical journey between land and sea every evening. Every evening, La Vague d'Or invites curious diners to a nightly symphony featuring the flav
Everything is perfect, from the valet parking, to the concierge, the waitresses and waiters, sommelier, perfect. The setting is unbelievable, the atmosphere heavenly. We had the 5 course menus. Too much for us, but absolutely delicious. The tomatoes, the langoustines, the turbot and the red mullets were delicious. We were not fans of the kind of pasta/foie gras, and the dessert which we found too sweet (Only our taste of course). The white wine was divine. Paradise on earth.Cher Hôte, Chef Arnaud Donckele and his team thank you for your raving review about your experience at La Vague dâOr !We are delighted you enjoyed the entire evening and thank you for your feedback about the desserts. We look forward to welcoming you soon again and wish you a wonderful Indian Summer in London! With kind regards,Olivier RaveyreDirecteur Général

A menu that changes regularly to offer fresh produce with the best quality / price ratio. Fine cuisine that will tickle your taste buds in an atmosphere so chic. Simply a Chef listen to your senses ...
The food here is undoubtedly of the highest standard. Our starters and main courses were delicious. Scallops, octopus salad and fish main courses were lovely. What spoilt our experience was our waiter. We had a number of questions about the menu which is all in French (no problem with this but we just wanted a couple of things clarifying) but he made it clear he didn't really want to answer our questions. He also insisted we order our desserts there and then and we hadn't even looked at the desserts as you usually don't order them at this stage. So we quickly had to scan the menu and make a quick decision. Based on the other desserts we saw coming out of the kitchen it became clear we had in our hurry made bad choices. We noticed that other people near us were not asked for their dessert choices at the beginning but these people were French. A great shame as, as I have said, the food and wine was very good. The waiter was on his own and busy and perhaps he was just having a bad day.

We havenât managed to eat here, so canât make any comments about the food (apparently itâs great), but beware of the customer service. Made reservation by phone and specified itâs for 14:00 - upon arrival were told in a cold and arrogant manner that the restaurant closes at 14 saying they havenât understood properly. No apologies. Then reluctantly agreed to serve us all the while being unpleasant and extremely unwelcoming. The blond waitress with pronounced features definitely has a thing or two to learn about hospitality, customer management and politeness.

We have been returning to La Verdoyante for the past 10 years and have never been disappointed. Our most recent visit in July 2019 has kept this tradition alive. Truly unique and wonderful location set in the midst of lush Provençal vineyards with a sea view. Wonderful choices for all tastes and fully deserved of its Bib gourmand Michelin Status. Between the two of us we ate starters of Fish Soup and Foie Gras and then for mains Daube of beef and steak with truffle topped with foie gras again (when in France !!)The dessert of chocolate Moulée with banana ice cream was exceptional. Could not recommend highly enough for anyone looking for a delightful and quintessentially French regional dining experience. We have already rebooked and canât wait to be indulged again.

We had such a great lunch at Saveurs Sincères that two days later we decided to go back there - Food Lovers, just go there! It's an exquisite cuisine made with love and creativity. Good wines from the region. Very fair Prices. Fantastic waiters, great atmosphere. ça vaut le détour, like Guide Michelin would say!
