We had a lovely dinner of three courses at a fixed price which was quite reasonable. Although choices on the price fixed are more limited we were able to find something to our liking. Everything was well prepared, delicious and presented with charm and style.

Apt, where I lived for more than 10 years and where I still visit my family once a year has never really been known for hosting great restaurants. Some are OK, not too bad, and often the best choice was to go for a pizza or real simple fare. The Carnot Set, surprisingly for what is also a café, is of another calibre, thanks to a very good chef and to the very friendly and welcoming owners of the place. It also benefits, since last year, of a newly refurbished square which is now mostly pedestrian and offers a terrace where to dine al fresco, weather permitting... and it permits a lot in that part of the world. The food is simple, but always prepared with care and with a twist that turns it out of the ordinary (like melon with a touch of olive oil). It is also very reasonably priced in a town where tourists are too often taken for a ride. As is the wine list, simple, but good and correctly priced. Service is friendly and attentive, even when the place is full (as it was the two times I had dinner there). Excellent location too, close to the Cathedral and the car park on the river bank. And when you see the locals eating there, it's a good sign, especially in Apt, believe me!

A lovely village restaurant in Villars, slightly off the beaten track in Luberon. The clients seem to be regulars and I can understand why. The atmosphere is very homely, the cuisine uncomplicated but using good ingredients. Avoiding complication is a core piece of advice - I chose an enticing starter (mille feuille with shrimps and smoked salmon) which was a bit of a let down compared to the simple but delicious foie gras my better half chose in her infinite wisdom. I made it up though with the beef fillet in mustard sauce (her sea bream was excellent to). Overall, maybe it does not strictly deserve 5 stars but worth to be encouraged and the value is very decent indeed - so try it when you happen to be in the area.

This is a winery that has a tasting room and cafe. You can have a salad lunch with 3 wine tastings, dessert and coffee for 12 euro.
Don't be fooled by the less than inspiring exterior, this is a fabulous place for lunch. Very attractive space inside with lots of local wines and products for sale. At lunch there are several choices to make. The formula includes meal. 3 glasses of wine!' Dessert and coffee ranging in price, from 14⬠to about 19â¬. An amazing value, very nicely presented and delicious food and great service. You can only go wrong if you miss out.

From the moment you enter, you can tell you are in the presence of an artist - everything from the decor to the menus to the food is a creative experience. There are a lot of traditional elements in the cuisine (mostly French, but some pan-Mediterranean), but they are combined and elaborated upon in a quite artistic way. You could tell by the number of specials on the menu that this is a place where every dish is well considered (it was evident that several of the dishes made use of seasonal ingredients that insured produce and meats were very fresh). The cooking and ingredients are all of high quality, My wife and I both ordered a fois gras that was perfectly salted and cooked. Both of our entrees were excellent and the kind waitress was friendly and very helpful in finding something our baby could eat. The establishment was the high-point of our stay in Apt. I would revisit Apt only to return to this restaurant. Merci a la la propriétaire pour votre déterminé penchant artistique!Je n'ai pas tout compris mais j'ai l'impression que vous êtes satisfaits de votre passage à l'intramuros. Merci et peut être á bientot
