Stopped in for a late lunch while walking the Route des Fontains. The atmosphere was a bit fussy but the food was anything but. Beautifully presented and decent sized portions at quite reasonable prices. I loved my grilled shrimp salad topped with a citrus dressing but there were five other dressing choices as well. Service was friendly.

Visited Malmedy yesterday and was looking for the best eats there. Until we read from the other reviews that Le Sparta is on the top here on Tripadvisor, so we gave it a try. The main entrance is located at the busy side of the street, they dont have a back door from the terrace. We went there by foot from the center. It may take 10-15 mins of walk to reach. When we arrived, the staffs welcomed and easily accomodated us to their restaurant even though we were wearing our summer outfits. We actually did not know that this restaurant was a fine dining one. So we decided to eat outside where itâs breezy and felt more comfortable. When we chose our seats, we were already served bread and their olive salad and have our menus readied. The service was fast and they were very attentive to our needs. I also told them about the chairs that I canât reach the table good because of my height, they gave me a very comfortable chair from the inside so I can eat normally. For the food, it was great! It was tasty and meat were cooked as they were supposed to be. The salad was fresh and fries were good Belgian fries. They speak good english and really did their best to understand us.

Ruud Roxs, the chef de cuisine knows his job; a fine cuisine, with an excellent choice of ingredients, nice combinations and a fine personal touch to the dishes served. Winelist was good, with some special items like a Muscat sec from France; very good with asparagus!

Belle epoque /1920s set up but done recently. Doesn't look genuine.Food is very local and typical. Rather narrow menu. Tasty food but not amazing. Average desserts.Very slow service. Good price/quality ratio.

The restaurant is in a small cosy room in the heart of the town. The hostess is very friendly and can help with recommendations. The menu includesclassic French and Belgian recipes with an interesting twist, and often homemade. Before the meal we were served some nice appetizers. For the starter we had the foie gras with jams and toasts as well as scampi with curry, both of which were very flavorful and delicious. For the main course we took the salmon with mustard sauce and the duck with honey, ginger and orange sauce, which were again excellent. For dessert we had a great chocolate lava cake and iced Irish coffee, and were served a limoncello to finish the meal. All in all a great recommendation while visiting Spa, great service and great food in a cozy atmosphere. Be sure to book a table or be there on time, the place was full by half past 7!

This is the best restaurant in Spa, so I hope you get to eat there. It is a two person operation as far as I could tell.... husband and wife. Service was utterly professional and caring. Then came the food. The fish courses were exceptionally creative and delicious. But the wild-caught roasted quail (with buckshot) was simply superb. I do wish that Belgian restaurants would be a bit more generous with veggies but whatever.

This restaurant don't look so special at first but the food is the best in francorchamps. More expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. Nice staff but not so good in English. Nice hotel too.

Côté Montage ambitions to create a "theme" restaurant in the very heart of Belgium's ardennes - at walking distance of the wolrd's most beautiful F1 circuit - this is such a great idea.I had the pleasure to share a diner with 6 people in a snowy week-end of December and the Côté Montage concept was a dream: white snow outside, warm atmosphere inside,i felt like after a good ski day or a long walk in the forest (which are superb in the area). The restaurant (kitchen, chef, menu and team) is brand new and the team in service is truly dedicated to make you feel the atmosphere of a mountain chalet ! Nice.Food is delicious, simple; we tried at least one of each category of the menu and it was perfect - not too much, not to heavy (which was my fear entering a "cheese"-diner). We had : Gratin savoyard - good, nothing special - in comparison with the rest; Fondues were excellent - actually we re-order a second Provençale; Mixed meats and Pavé de Boeuf, were also a winner at our table (meat is delicious, tasty and tender). Don't hesitate to ask the kitchen to re-warm the stone on which you cook you own meat ! superbe.I can't wait to see what's the next concept - since the Theme will most probably follow the seasons... Coté montage will then leave room for more Gril and BBQ... and i trust/hope for some wild meat in the hunting season... more to come.Attention : the restaurant is open for public only on Fri, Sat and Sun - on demand the rest of the week. The last attempt i made... it was full, consider to call or book in advance.

This is a small but stunning little restaurant. It was recommended to us by our B&B host and didnât disappoint! We had the steak that you cook yourself on a hot stone with three sauces and the house red. Atmosphere was warm and lively, without being too noisy. I would recommend to pre-book a table, especially on Saturday night in order not to miss out!

L'Endroit Malmedy is a Bar Gourmand - Restaurant offering a fine selection of drinks, draft beers and a wine bar. As meal, l'Endroit will delight you with its gourmet boards filled with quality products, meat on stones, salads and mussels in season.
The service is ok, because you can order in English, which is a rare thing in Belgium. We would have liked to have the menu also in English, but it didn't happen. The carrot soup is definitely the best choice, the other foods will not catch your attention. Dear,Thanks for your review. We have only one menu on each table and it is in french, dutch and english.Best regards.Christophe & Nicolas
