We came here for an anniversary dinner last night. Both my partner and I have been to France several times and we understand the cuisine. The food was outstanding with attentive service and an excellent selection of wine. If you want to treat yourself this is the place to go and its worth every penny.

Authentic French Bistro run by Chef Alain Fabregues of the Loose Box Restaurant in Mundaring. Offering classic French dishes such as the Beef Cheek, Duck Confit and Alainâs superb Seafood Crepe.
Only recently read in the newspaper that Alain Fabregues hadnât sold the restaurant. It had been a favourite place for a quick affordable lunch and I always had the duck. The waiter advised there were only 2 serves of the confit of duck left. This was my opportunity to try something else. The snapper fillet was spot delicious served with winter vegetables. By the way I was told the duck was superb. A starter of a Spanish warm salad with Fremantle Sardines was tasty. The waiter was knowledgeable on the food and wines. A very relaxing enjoyable evening. Bistro des Artistes continues to deliver a little of Paris in Perth. (I will have to seek out a duck confit when I am in Paris in September)

First visit but most defiantly return worthy. Wow, amazing! We were welcomed with great enthusiasm, which did not deplete during the evening. Dining during the â2 hats in mayâ special, in my opinion the greatest value for money degustation I have seen. Food quality was second to none, with great elegance and sophistication in each element on the plate. dishes were perfectly paired with mainly local wine, always a good sight too see in these cut throat times. Service was relaxed but attentive with a special mention to Remi who lifted flat moments on the floor throughout the duration of the evening. Will defiantly return and recommend to anyone looking for a unique, top shelf experience.
Top 10 European food in Floreat, Cambridge, Western Australia
Took a freind who was totally in love with Maison Saint-Honore's icecream after having sampled at their Benara Road location.Result was disappointing but put down to a lower turnover during winter - frozen harder, smaller serve, lacking texture - put 'possibly' the same qualityMeantime, I tried the crepe Terroir - delicious, would be nice if the flavours were throughout the crepe instead of on one side. \My only complaint is the pile of english baby spinach leaves stuffed in the the top of the crepe. Surely it is understood that a crepe is flat-ish and does not need to be plumped up with (crap) green stuff no one wants to eat. Please serve them as they would be in France. The service was excellent, so nice to have 'career' wait staff instead of backpackers 'making a buck' !
