An outdoor terrace right in front of Amerongen Castle, a lazy warm summer evening that turns time timeless, a truly wonderful dinner, immaculate service ... Who says that perfection does not exist?We had one of the best dining experiences of the past few years in Bentinck, housed in the former stables of the castle. From amuse to friandise, and the four courses in between -- all were excellent, both in terms of taste and in terms of the aesthetics of presentation. The young waiting staff proved enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and attentive.If you should eat outside, don't forget to walk in to admire the splendid textile art (several meters long) by one of Holland's finest artists, Claudy Jongstra.Highly recommended!

Het gebeurt niet vaak dat ik een waardering geef met een rapportcijfer 10. Dus wanneer dat wel gebeurt is er iets bijzonders aan de hand. Deze review gaat over het restaurant Rijnaerde in Maarn, waar ik alleen in overtreffende termen over kan schrijven.Bij aankomst is het terras uitnodigend voor degenen die daar prijs op stellen, maar binnen valt inn positieve zin op dat de zaak ruim is opgezet. Dit vertaalt zich in de ruimte-per tafel die uiterst royaal genoemd kan worden wat een verademing is met menig ander restaurant waar je soms als hooggewaardeerde clientèle op elkaar gestapeld wordt De bediening is uiterst attent en ik heb werkelijk geen moment hoeven zoeken naar de zwarte brigade voor het afruimen, het bijbestellen of het bijschenken. De kaart bevat meer dan voldoende verrassingen waarbij soms de invloeden uit andere windstreken zichtbaar worden. Zoals bijvoorbeeld in de beef teriyaki en de in knoflook gemarineerde scampis; die wij bestelden, allebei voltreffers. En voor wie zich avontuurlijk voelt is er altijd het verrassingsmenu van de chef.âIeder gerecht met veel liefde bereidâ staat er op de website en daar is werkelijk geen woord aan gelogen. Dus zonder enige twijfel een 10 en het voornemen om er regelmatig aan te schuiven.

We can not praise this restaurant enough! There is a menu, but the 3, 4 or 5-course surprise meal always makes our night (you can exclude certain ingredients). The service is relaxed yet flawless. Your glass will never be empty. Often the chefs will bring out the plates and explain what they prepared. Do make a reservation! Parking in the streets around the restaurants.

Nice restaurant with a good food selection. We were 6 so we just asked for a set of starters to share which seems a good choice. The beef tartare was great also seafood. Only tomatoes and mozzarella were to plane.Followed by mains and deserts. Take their grilled veal stake as it tasted really good. In general very good food and friendly service. So far best restaurant for me in the area.

The restaurant caters for an upmarket campsite. It goes well beyond snacks and beer with an ambitious menu at reasonable prices. A good house wine accompanied our meal of pheasant and veal. The restaurant is less than a mile from the A12 motorway. But note that the motorway access and exit is to and from the west (direction of Utrecht) only. From the motorway take the first road right just south of the motorway. Turn left at the T-junction, follow this road until the pavement runs out. Don't despair: after about 100 yards you will find the restaurant among the trees on your right.

Restaurant Voltaire is new in our area and managed by Chef Marco Westmaas. We had a 7 course menu with exquisit tastes from all over the planet accompanied by some great wines. If you are prepared to travel a bit we certainly recommend the journey laid out by the chef. I was here for a business talk with somebody. The coffee they served at De Kluis is perfect and price worth. Sagefredo. Like in Italy. Delicious cappuccino. Friendly personnel. De Kluis is attractively located in the centre of Doorn, with a heated terrace. Good and friendly staff.

I arrived on Sunday evening without a booking when they were already very busy. Whilst they have an indoor seating area everyone was outside as the weather was perfect. The service was efficient and friendly, the food excellent, a delightful family atmosphere. I started with crab soup that was absolutely delicious, they provided ample fresh bread to go with it - followed by steak and chips perfectly cooked. The only downside is that they donât offer Coca-Cola so I endured a Pepsi!

We recently called in at this restaurant for lunch during our long weekend visit exploring the lovely countryside in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. We were immediately greated by very friendly personnel and because of the good weather, we chose to sit on the terrace outside.The menu here is very good with quite a number of unusual tasty choices of food on it. As it was lunchtime, I chose the 'Scampi / Ossenhaas Salad', which consists of prawns, pieces of beef and green salad served-up in a very tasty Thai dressing and is reasonably large and filling (for a lunch). I was not disappointed !The nice atmosphere, choice of food and the very friendly staff made us return here again with friends on two more occasions (for lunch and drinks) during our small holiday in the area. We did not experience dinner here, but when you look at the beautiful inside decor of this restaurant, I am sure it would be a very nice place for an evening meal. I would certainly recommend it.Thankyou Jacqeline for your freindly service each time and I am sure we will return here again the next time we are in the area.
