Be sure to make a reservation as this is a small, tight place(your chair literally touches the one behind you) menu has some whimsical and nice aperitifs and cocktails. You begin with baguettes with a delicious chicken rillette or mousse spread. I enjoyed the Mille fuille with crab rillettes as an entree. Wife had the paella with mussels and whitefish, very tasty. I ordered the fillet of the famous white cows(charolais) aged 45 days. Problem may have been communication but I received a raw, cold steak, literally couldn't chew it. Lovely hostess was telling me in French that it was too good to over cook! Heck, I just wanted medium-rare! But she took it and returned rather quickly with it butterflied and nicely done. The real treat was the specialty dessert, the Paris Brest. A large puff paste circle, split and filled with vanilla cream, ice cream in the middle and lots of candied nuts! D- li-cious!!One of the most enjoyable part of the experience is when you let Madame select your wines. She will bring bottles wrapped in towels, pour you a sip and if you approve she does a reveal to show you what you are drinking, great fun!Best of all, at our departure she asked me very sincerely "did you enjoy your meal?"Oui Madame!

Everything was delectable here, except I thought the sole was a bit dry or overcooked. (Sole isn't readily available in Norway where I live, so I'm not familiar with how it's supposed to taste.) Service was polite and efficient. Attractive chill-out decor with nature themes. The room was a bit too warm (weak air-conditioning?). All the recipes were really impressive and a great pleasure for the palate--I'd love to dine here again!

Classic small French restaurant serving delightful seasonal dishes. Back after 12months, this time with our family, and still sensational. My Rabbit, Fish and roast apple tarte were delicious. I must mention that the plate of seasonal vegetables the chef prepared especially for my vegetarian Sister-in-Law made her gasp with delight (first picture). Truly a must when in Dijon.

We tried to walk in on a Friday night but no luck, so we made a booking for Saturday night. This place is amazing! Itâs a cute little cosy place, with outdoor tables perfect for a warm evening. The lovely owner spoke a little bit of English, and was very welcoming. He was able to suggest a bottle of lovely local wine. The escargot was absolutely delicious! We also had a cheese, meat and vegetable platter, and also the smoke salmon blinis. We loved the escargot so much that we ordered a second plate, followed by 2 more glasses of wine. Great value at 60 Euros. Just make sure to book.

Dinner is expensive, but such refined food comes at a price. We have been twice, the second time was just as enjoyable, with a touch of Japan refinement and imagination applied to very good products. The wine list is great, service is elegantly friendly and effective.Would clearly deserve a Michelin star as soon as possible.Very well done and very welcome in Dijon!

Two minutes from BeauxArts museum this is exceptional food. I had lotte w purée peas which contrasted perfectly w cubes of rice fried & sautéed green cauliflower. Wonderful mix of flavors! Have the Black Forest dessert, unlike any dessert youâve ever had: a chocolate tree, two thin slices, between which were brandied cherries, balls of white cheese (not sure which but super contrast w cherries & chocolate) & a ball of cassis sorbet. Elegant quiet atmosphere w only 6 tables. Must reserve! Best meal weâve had in Burgundy & better than many in NYC or Paris for same price.

What a welcoming family restaurant. Coming inside from a cold rainy night was wonderful. The delicious smells, the decor and the smiling hostess made this cosy place immediately very appealing. The food and wine didn't disappoint. Both were extremely good. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Au Buffon chez Eddy.

The reviews are right, and we enjoyed a pre-booked Sunday evening dinner, it was sold out but the tables are nicely set apart for the right level of privacy.Where to begin?! Maybe the extra appetiser of deconstructed jambon persille, which was as light and full of flavour as you can imagine. Dishes like compressed foie gras, an outstanding reinvented chicken supreme and a perfectly cooked and crumbling cod, were both delicious and substantial. And the desserts matched the service, wines and unpretentious atmosphere for perfection.A great memory.

En congé du 3 août au 21 août. On holiday from 3rd to 21 august. Parapluie serves modern french cuisine using local produces with an asian twist.
Well mastered fresh products, cooked to perfection and served by a very enthusiastic team of the waiter and chef.It was hard to decide on which dish to decide,as all options were very tempting. We have now been 3 times, the 21 euro lunch is just great, gourmet dinner at the price is really an opportunity. The wine list is short but it is a great and wise selection.Congratulations, guys!PS Always book your table ahead.
