Arrived early to the restaurant, 7pm to making sure that I'll be well served...As a fine gourmet I selected the scallops menu, which was described as a top choice.Disappointments arrived quicker than the dishes, the appetizer was a poor blend of salty fish with salmon. Followed by a over cooked mussels and little portion of scallops (what a shame a it were super over cooked) and then nothing... Waited half an hour for nothing, remainder to the maître d that I'm waiting for the main course and nothing...Finally I lost my appetite and left the restaurant, what a shame, i picked that restaurant due to TripAdvisor reviews, bad experience you are alerted!

A little off the beaten track (on the way to the free funicular) we were pleased to find this less busy place and our granddaughter was glad she didn't have to eat fish! We opted for mussels anyway and they were tasty... the decor is quirky, the server cheerful and the washroom clean. A great find.

We where recommended by locals for a nice dinner . See you can trust the locals for a good place to dine. A friendly a good services , as we were late not all of the food was available. But the evening suggestion of fillet of Colin in lemon sauce was superb. The dessert of local home made ice crème are divine.

After my first visit to this restaurant, I wrote a review that was quite negative. Despite my promise to "not visit it again", my wife and I did visit it again (even twice, to be honest). Just like the first time, the food was excellent and the service very friendly. My first visit was disappointing because there was a bar party going on while we were dining. This has however not happened again to us. Maybe my earlier review helped to increase the standard. If so: well done!It seems that the place is run by young lads, who enjoy it. They know how to make you comfortable and serve you well in a correct manner, with a sense of humour, if suitable. The menu is not a cheap eat, but the quality of their dishes deserve their prices.I am happy to increase my earlier rating to EXCELLENT.Maybe a small improvement: At the back, there is a door to the toilets. Next to it is another door that says "Cuisine". I think I would remove the word "Cuisine" and just leave that door blank.

Le Treport has a sizeable selection of tempting looking restaurants along its harbourside. Ignore them all and continue to the end, turn the corner and instead choose this small restaurant opposite the casino. The â¬17.50 menu (note: only available before 21.00) is stupendous value. We started with fish soup - a generous portion and properly hot (so often its served tepid and the cheese doesn't melt). We followed with fresh and succulent skate. Desserts were also delicious. As the meal was so cheap we treated ourselves to a more expensive bottle of wine than normal; picking the Quincy. This was absolutely gorgeous sauvignon blanc at its best and a perfect accompaniment to the fish we had chosen. As we walked back to our hotel we noticed that although our restaurant had been packed, none of the competition down the harbourside was more than half full. That tells you everything.

We tried this restaurant considering the good reviews on tripadvisor and also considering bad services in the restaurants along the port. You will be offered 2 menus with various choice of starters/main dish and dessert. You also have dishes a la carte. Dishes were very fresh, fish was excellent and you get large portions. Kid menu available (nuggets/frites). Very friendly service. Definitely worth No.1 ranking on tripadvisor. Highly recommended. PS. Park at Funiculaire parking (cheap 2.50 EURO) and take free of charge funiculaire down. Restaurant is just there. Eventhough it is not facing the port, you will reach the port within 5 minutes walk.

We arrived in Le Treport around dinertime and decided to go for diner straight away. We noticed this place on TA and didnât hesitate for a second. The staff was really friendly as we tried our best French and they tried their best English. The food was perfect and the best part: everything was homemade and fresh (you could definitely taste that!). We had the entrecote (with a beautiful pepper sauce) and the Cob burger with currysauce (fantastic!). Thank you for the great first night in France!! Definitely coming back someday!

Cuisine traditionnelle a base de poissons et de fruits de mer et viande aussi menus a partir de 14.50 ⬠la semaine
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was not disappointed - the restaurant is simply but nicely furnished and spotlessly clean, and the proprietors most welcoming and friendly. There is a good choice of menus with a special "lunchtime express" at â¬13,00 which is excellent value. The meal was served promptly and was very tasty with generous portions. There is an adequate wine list by bottle or carafe. I will certainly be eating here again. There is parking available opposite, but knowing Criel sur Mer as I do, it can be very crowded in summer. You should give this establishment a try - you'll not be disaapointed

Went here together with my parents in law and our two small children. The service was oke and the waitress friendly. The portion of mussels quit big and tasty. The White house wind (Sauvignon Blanc IGP Pays d' Oc) was well balanced and tasted great with the moules frites! My wife ordered entrecôte, a big portion tasty meat. The price was reasonable. If you go there for drinks only you have to be willing to pay â¬3,70 for 0,33 ltr Stella Artois. And soft drinks go for â¬3,40.
