We havenât been to the Bistro for many years since the âCharlieâ days. We had heard mixed reports about the various incarnations since but fairly good ones about this latest one. I was therefore surprised to be subjected to service bordering on neglect. Our main course arrived whilst we were finishing our starter with a half apology that the âchef prepared this too soonâ. Ok, so we ate too quickly but what happened then was even worse. Our table was completely neglected with dirty plates left uncleared despite several requests to do so.Shame really, because the food was delicious

This is always a great place to stop at the end of the day. In good weather you can sit on the terrace and watch people tacking the red and black runs. On a bad day there is a fair amount of space and waiting times arenât too bad.We particularly liked the omelette and the charcuterie platter. The cafe gourmand was to die for and at 11 Euro, pretty good value.

Located right in the heart of Courchevel, l'Arbé restaurant welcomes you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It's open all day as soon as 8.30am with a continental breakfast menu and then in a non-stop service until 11.00pm. Enjoy traditional Savoyard food
Rated as 8th best restaurant in 1850, we booked a table for 8pm. To note, 8pm is the pinnacle of eating time in Courchevel. We arrived to a very cosy restuarant, sat round to the back in tables so cramped that putting your coat on/off invades on the table next to you. It took the waiter 15 minutes to come and take our drinks order, which was interesting to note that he was serving the entirety of the rear by himself and seemed overwhelmed. We asked for bread to have whilst we wait for the main, upon which we received plain bread. We had to ask twice for butter and plates, whilst still waiting for our drinks and water. The mains arrived and looked great, however the chicken was cold and needed to be sent back. The waiter did not apologise, he seemed to be extremely busy and clearly the establishment is understaffed for a full sitting at 8pm. The food was ok. Nothing special nor nothing bland - the burger was great so worth trying that if you do visit. However, it was the incredibly terrible service that let the experience down. Having asked for another glass of wine, we waiting 20mins for the waiter to come and take our plates, he forgot about the wine, he did not apologise and then gave us a bill which included the additional wine. Letâs also not forget that at no stage did we get our water we ordered at the very beginning. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the reviews we had read on here and have found better service (and food) at lower ranked establishments on TripAdvisor.I would recommend going elsewhere, as the service is not what you would expect in a resort such as Courchevel. We are sorry if you had some trouble in our restaurant. We do our best for our guest and will consider your review. Usually, our service is well recognized and we really apologized for this time.Hope to see you again for a better experience.Cécile & Jean-Luc

The Bistrot Le C is a restaurant located in the center of Courchevel Moriond, down the Aquamotion escalator, first stop on the right. The restaurant is open every day in winter for tasty après-ski or for the diner with the whole family or friends. Closed
We had eaten here last season a few times and each time it was excellent. This time the food was good but the service didnât match the food. Main meals arrived straight after we had finished starter, only got one scoop of ice cream as part of the kids meal despite the menu including two scoops (and the waiter telling us it was just one scoop as part of the menu), adult desert not arriving and when it did the adult lemon merugine was served in a bowl and the same size as the childrenâs whereas previously it was something special. All minor things but when you go to Le C you expect something a bit more for the price....Disappointed to be honest...Better to save your money and eat at some of the owner run restaurants in the village like the new Copina (Spanish Tapas) and LâEtorlou.Dear Client,First of all, thank you very much for having taken the time to write back your feelings about our restaurant. On one hand, I am truly disappointed that your experience with us has not been memorable. Service and cuisine teams want to offer an unforgettable experience to each guest. That's why we are really sorry when the magic didnât happened. On other hand, I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed the food despite of the desserts. Please believe that your comments were already shared with all the team.Every feedback is important for us in order to improve and provide a unique and exceptional experience to all our guests. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again at the Bistrot Le C in the near future.Sincerely,Emmanuel Lachenal â Restaurant Operations Manager

Mountain Restaurant in Courchevel 1650
Rather than use the excellent restaurant, down below is a great snack bar. Standard mountain food at reasonable prices. However, the âtoast baconâ makes a change and is an excellent brunch.

Attentive service, prompt and kind, with good English knowledge.Tasty food and happy guests, most of them french speaking, thing that gave us further confidence in our initial choice. The double fondue dish was good and more than enough for two. The 500 gr entrecote was fresh and correctly prepared. We took the menu option that included the dessert, amazing cranberry cake.It was a perfect finale of the ski week evening.

The service was in our opinion "over the top" and somewhat theatrical, but the experience was very good.Dear John, We thank you for your opinion about our Chabichou. I was surprised to find a Michelin starred restaurant in such a small village. I treated myself and I`m glad I did the food is superb, the staff well trained. You can have lunch as well. Well worth the money.

9 of us had a very reasonably priced and quite excellent meal. We went for the decouvert menu and had great fun. Every course was interesting with some unexpected twists. Service was outstanding and friendly. The final bill was just over â¬110 per head including wine which for a starred restaurant is hugely good value
