Where to eat Asian food in Champasak Province: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Wine and beer bar and restaurant, you can find cheese, delicatessen and some french and lao food. Speciality of belgian beer and french wine !
My girlfriend and I went to SeSe wine & bar 2 weeks ago (after meeting the owner at La Boulange, another great place to get good freshly baked bread). The place is simple and welcoming. After traveling for few months in South east Asia, we were very happy to find there a cheese plater of good quantity & quality with an excellent selection of French cheeses: Morbier, Comté, saint Nectaire, Tome de Savoie, Brie... accompanied with proper baguette bread and all for a very fair price. The French wine selection was very good as well and you can also find homemade pate! We were sitting at the bar and spent the evening chatting with SeSe about the life in Laos. A nice evening with interesting discussions and nice food and wine! If you are in Pakse and miss a bit of France, go to SeSe! Thank you very much. It is a real pleasure to give people some advices about Pakse and Champasak area. I am very happy you found this new bar in Pakse, I do my best to offer the best to the visitors and i am so glad you enjoyed. I hope see you soon in Pakse again !!!

I understand there were staffing issues on the day we went however we were not forewarned that our food would take over an hour to be cooked, and even then, the pizza was undercooked. Has potential but there are better places in town.

Designated lunch stop, at this "resort/restaurant" beside the Old French Bridge. Firstly, and most importantly the Dark Beer Laos was COLD!!!. Fruit Juices were nice (so I'm told)...but did I mention the cold beer!!! Our lunch was great...Lumpia were hot, nice dipping sauce...and the chicken pepper stir fry was a winner. Cut up fruit...all good and cheap as.Great lunch stop

No doubts at all!!! Here you find the most local, most traditional and homemade food in this island.Cooked with love... slowly by a local couple, is hard to choose the best dish in here.Surprisingly I advise to try the Avocado Burger, is an unpredictable delicious experience.Everything else, don't know how to describe, but is too good.
