La fondue savoyarde est exceptionnelle, de plus on peut avoir dans le même plat à plusieurs la fondue aux cèpes, avec de vrais cèpes fraiches, un régal et une fondue traditionnelle extrêmement bonne également. L'accueil est en plus fort sympathique et chaleureux !!! j'en ai mangé beaucoup des fondues dans ma vie, mais une comme celle là rarement voir jamais !!! Bref la fondue est une tuerie !! je vous conseils de réserver à l'avance !!

We chose this restaurant because we all love crêpes and the menu had a lot of choice. In fact we had a dessert which is a rarity for us! The service was friendly and swift which was a bonus. It's quite a small rustic restaurant with a terrace at the back and we would recommend booking in peak season.

Absolutely love this restaurant - stunning winter or summer and the food is wonderful. The restaurant is set over a waterfall and in winter in particular the scenery is just stunning. Wonderful stop on the way to mountain at the top.

Walked into this Restaurant while hiking in the Pyrenees. Situated close to Cauterets in a lovely valley, this place was surprisingly sophisticated in its presentations and dishes! And I was expecting "just another Refuge" The Hotel- restaurant is less than a hour's drive from Cauterets, and about 2 hrs hike. Service was great - food even better with generous portions! The excellent prepared and presented mouthwatering dishes was thoroughly enjoyed! Next time i will sleep over as well. A booking might be wise.

Ate here as an unreserved walk in whilst staying in a neighbouring hotel. Set back from the main street in a small arcade, it is quite a small restaurant on two levels. There is some outside seating. What a find! Simple menu but utterly superb. Duck with nectarine cooked to perfection, and lamb cut similarly cooked pink and well presented. The wine list is a range of French regions: not cheap, but acceptable. Waitress was utterly professional. Must go here if staying in Cauterets.

Firstly if you are struggling to find this restaurant it's because the Google map location is slightly wrong. It is on the main road almost opposite carrefour.The ambience is slightly lacking compared to other restaurants in Cauterets but the service was very good and friendly and the food excellent.We are vegetarian which means we have been very limited for choice. There were 2 options here, vegetarian pizza which was nice and deep fried camembert with fries which was great.

A place to cherish and return, especially after our former day experience in a different (bad) place.Good food and fast service, the waiters and owners were genuinely interested and trying to please. Clocharde was a good idea, accompanied by creamy potatoes gratin. Great deserts well.

We've been here a few times. The food is good. The owner is not friendly and seems in a hurry for his clients to leave. Too bad because he has good quality meat and a cosy atmosphere.

Very inviting, chic and contemporary decor. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and spoke good English. We had a mixed platter of cheese and a bottle of local red wine..... then we had more cheese. Choice of cold meats looked fabulous but we are both vegetarian.
