We stayed here for one nigh and only had their breakfast, which was very good and great value for the money. Also seemed very popular by the locals who came to have their breakfast out in the sun.Staff was absolutely wonderful and very happy, kind and helpful.

Cheapest place to eat on the port, but don't expect much for your money. Slow service and inedible pizzas (the mozzarella tasted of plastic). Carpaccio and goat salad was lovely however. The salmon had no flavour but the accompanying garlic rice was delicious. The duck tasted more of beef and was slightly overcooked. The home-made chips were a nice surprise though. Dessert was a choice of fromage blanc with red fruits or 2 balls of ice-cream.Expect to pay â¬15.90 for a menu of entrée, plat, dessert: still a bit hungry afterwards.

My family and I had limited time to have supper before dropping someone off at the airport. We hit the marina in Carnon at 7pm and were confronted with dozens of restaurants. Le Bastidon looked good, with wrought iron chairs and tables and banquettes, so we decided to give it a try. The waitress was very welcoming and asked when we needed to leave by. She was fantastic, efficient, attentive, really nice and took our orders immediately. The food was beautifully presented and very good, the swordfish and tuna cooked to perfection, and the seafood tagliatelle was excellent too and lots of it. My normally fussy daughter pronounced the burger âperfectâ. My other vegetarian daughter was equally happy with the goatâs cheese salad. The price was really reasonable and we were finished in good time to catch the flight. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Ludicrously expensive, scruffy little restaurant in a very unappealing part of town. Can't speak for the food, as the 6 of us left after a bottle of wine, such was the bad feeling - justified by the bad attitude of the owner/chef. Unsurprisingly, only one other table was occupied - although it was about 8.30pm on a Friday evening in high season.

We went there between three friends and had an amazing time. They have two menus, one at 15⬠and one at 20⬠entrée+main+desert. It was delicious, fast and the owners are super nice. The chef even came out to ask each table how their dinner was going. A must go!!!

We were 7 for a birthday party lunch sitting on the terrace viewing the yacht harbour. The waiter was efficient and kept track of the many varied orders. 3 Langoustine starters were served and were acceptable. Several Lobster Armoricain/Tagliatelle were ordered (supposedly excellent). I had a Tartar of duck that had absolutely no duck taste what-so-ever...only tomato and avocado...doubted any duck had come near it. My Turbot dish was not really warm, served with peas, lima beans and bacon...OK, but was nothing to write home about. The dessert was sold as a Strawberry Tart, but had a hard, cracker base with some flavoured cream with cut strawberries stuck in and a ball of ice cream...not a very special desert creation. The white wine was a Domaine Reine Juliette 'Terres Rouges' Picpoul de Pinet 2013. It was possibly the best thing about this meal, at only Euro 19.

Sunday lunch with friends. Place looked good so we went in. All four of us chose a set menu and it all started so well with a lovely seafood starter. The main however was a real disappointment. Caubillard, over cooked and under seasoned, served on some cold, watery French beans, some bulots and a slice of baked potato. In their favor though was the concern they showed for our dissatisfaction. They offered us some extra wine 'on the house' and were most apologetic.Puts were fine. House wine agreeable. Would go back though just to see if we were unlucky on the day!

This is a really disappointing review to write: Our food was very good, our waitress very friendly but it wasnât a good experience and I couldnât recommend La Plancha to others. It took about an hour to get food, not much less to get served a bottle of wine. At the end of the meal I went to pay inside and was confronted with table after table of dirty crockery and cutlery - never a sign of a well run restaurant! The food itself? Main courses were very good - simple but good. We had a range of brochettes and all were well cooked and tasty. The chips and vegetables accompaniments were also good. The kids went for the chocolate cake after that - but clearly that is bought in, served cold and doesnât get the same love and attention as the main course. We also had a mixed starter - I wouldnât recommend it, all perfectly ok but expensive for what it is.Overall we werenât well looked after and that plus a very long wait for service made for a disappointing evening

I visited while on a business trip. The food was excellent. I had the sea bass which was served with rice and their signature vegetables - like a ratatouille. It was excellent. I really enjoyed it. The place is not overly fancy but the food is terrific. thank you see you
