The portions are huge and my salad Landaise was delicious (couldn't finish it). I loved watching the mountains of food arrive at the tables, maybe that's why it's called the mountain. Had a lovely meal after a day's sightseeing at Versailles. Scallops and the best salmon linguine we'd ever had - the presentation of the Seafood Platter was wonderful.Despite us looking somewhat dishevelled and having poor French , we were welcomed and received great service.

Had an excellent meal at this well presented and clearly well-renowned restaurant. Service was good, simple and precise without being over-bearing. The food was excellent. The asparagus was beautifully cooked with extremely tasty additions. Fillet steak cooked to perfection. Being non-native, the maitre d also took the time to ensure that we asked for exactly how the steak should be cooked.......and it turned out perfectly.The desserts were also excellent.I can't fault this restaurant and it has an lovely ambiance. I look forward to my next visit to Arpajon.

Fisrt you get very well welcomed when you get in. There are 3 range od menus we took the one at 29 euros. Plenty of French traditional dishes. We got fisrt an amuse bouche who was very good. They all the meals were very very good with lot of creativity in recipes and presentation. Service was a bit slow, but we were on Sunday so not such in a hurry. But service was very professional and done with lot of kindness. We had with us a kid of 3 years old and they have been very nice to give him,exactly what we wanted for him. So bottom line a very good French traditional restaurant at very affordable price !!

As so many others have already testified, this is an excellent restaurant. Corinne can charm almost anyone. Her husband does a great job, making traditional South-Eastern dishes even better by close attention to detail and hints of creativity. The wine list is exemplary. The interior as well is the exterior is stylish, well maintained and adds to the overall experience.The great minus of the restaurant is price. With some research, you can find a similar level of entertainment for a significantly smaller amount of money. The great plus is being one the very few restaurants open for Sunday lunch in the area. Une découverte très satisfaisante dans cette petite ville de l'Essonne : deux menus qui se complètent agréablement à des prix étudiés, sans oublier celui pour les enfants.Le cuisine est de qualité, sans grosse surprise. La fraicheur des produits et le soin pour la présentation doivent être soulignés. L'accueil est ouvert et sympathique.Parmi les points positifs à souligner : le grand choix de vins au verre à des prix raisonnables qui permet de changer en cours du repas et la qualité de la mousse au chocolat, juste authentique.

The mussels were very fresh and they offered them in a verity of different sauces. I had them in the Provençal style. I found them to be very good. The flavors worked very well together and the flavor of the mussels came through. The cooking time was perfect. The French fries that came with them were ok. The service was attentive and friendly. The decor of the restaurant is pleasant. It is a chain restaurant and is usually good. I have eaten here a few times over the years and the taste and cooking time has ranged from average to very good. Based on last night 4 stars. On average 3.5

If you find yourself in Arpajon, a town about 30 km from Paris, and are hungry, Chez Manu is the ticket. A small Basque restaurant with ho hum decor but great food. In the husband-wife team, the husband cooks and the wife efficiently takes care of clients. I went for a mid-week lunch and the place was hopping, turning away clients. The portions are plentiful and the prices are fair.
