Man that was amazing. Every dish involves cheese but it's not always obvious. Great setting, good buzz to the place. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Food off the scale. I had beef tartare with comte, then some cheese ravioli served with a profound ham sauce. For desert I had a really cool dish of pear, stilton, and spéculoos (who knew ...)Wife (veggie) and daughter (fussy) equally delighted. This is the sort of restaurant that makes you want to go to France again and again.

This restaurant definitely earns its two Michelin stars. You can either order from a set menu, or a la carte. Either way, you will be served with many extra little dishes, especially at the end of the meal. Plus, on the evening we were there, the waiter invited us to go back to the kitchen and meet the head chef and pastry chef. The dishes we ate were all good. Very expensive, but worth the splurge.Dear Madam, Dear Sir,Thank you so much, for taking the time to write such a nice comment further to your visit, at Le Pressoir dâArgent Gordon Ramsay **.Iâam really pleased to read that you had a great moment, with us, and our chefs. It is very important for us that customer may met our chefs, and the kitchen, in order to met Le Pressoir dâArgent universe.Le Pressoir dâArgent Gordon Ramsay is truly hoping to welcome you in a near future.Kind Regards

Cold french farmer food, charcuterie, cheese and wine
When you find a place like this that makes you smile long after you have left it brings some order to the sea of eating establishments in Boudreaux .This place run by an extremely enthusiastic wife and husband team serve superb wine and Charcuterie boards . Itâs food chosen with passion and knowledge evident when the produce is explained at the table . Itâs such a revelation to experience this in a cozy friendly and relaxed manner . The selected cheeses are so well matched with various hams, smoked Bresaola and other delights all served at the correct temperature and delivered with feeling and washed down with a glass or two of fine wine . Just perfect .

What a cool little restaurant at which to dine. Very intimate setting but not intimidating. Friendly staff. They have a limited menu of small plates. We ordered four and shared them for dinner along with some Bordeaux wine. Easy to reach if you are staying in the old town area.

Soléna, restoring of the city center of Bordeaux, is a restaurant where we feel good. The leader, OSTRONZEC Victor, welcomes you for a gastronomic discovery there where the product and the emphasis of the local producers are the center of interest. Open f
We were quite excited to return to this restaurant since weâve had a couple of outstanding meals here. This dinner was no exception but the evening, overall, was lacking. The interior has undergone a renovation...itâs very pink! Thereâs been a staff change, too. Service was a little aloof. We chose the four course tasting menu which turns out to be eight courses with extras. The portions are small but, still, a lot of food! We heard several diners refuse dessert. It was a full house and everyone appeared to have the same menu. The kitchen was able to keep pace, no long waits between courses, food served hot, impeccably plated. The servers were a bit rushed, though, understandably so. While all the food was very very good, nothing was outstanding or particularly memorable, like previous dinners. Fish and meat courses maybe on the safe side. Wines are on the pricey side, a couple in the 40 euro mark and then jump to 65 and much higher. This restaurant is definitely worth going to...and returning to. There were repeat customers, locals. We paid about 170 euros with a decent bottle of wine. Good value and a most pleasant experience, just a bit lacking...in personality, maybe. Or it could be all that pink.Thank you for your return on your meal at Solena. Thank you for coming back to see us and enjoy our cuisine. We have noted the different elements on which we could improve and we will do everything to put in place from your passage in Bordeaux and Soléna. Thank you for your loyalty.

Myself and my wife went to this restaurant after reading a few reviews. We went on a Thursday evening and had a superb time. The host is the heart and sole of the place. He is fantastic, engaging and obviously loves his restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely but more importantly the food was very very good. My Takati beef was stunning. If you go go for the evening. Dont rush. Its great.

Our first dinner of our month long visit to Bordeaux was here. We were so impressed that we chose Sonâ for our last dinner. First of all, the room is stunning! A perfect blend of old and new, sleek and modern compliments the gorgeous ceilings. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very efficient. One menu, a 45 euro, five course, culinary adventure, changes daily. Well chosen wine list. On both visits, we shared foie gras, a nice potion for only 10 euros. We thought the first dinner was perfection with several high points...maybe all high points. The second dinner was not so successful, with a couple of misses. In both cases, the dessert was a scene stealer. Plating is artful, complimented by unusual serving pieces. The young chef is creative with a real sense of adventure, that is very evident. This is a very good restaurant, with loads of potential to be truly great, but itâs not there yet. Itâs still in itâs infancy. We look forward to returning next year....it will only get better and better.Good afternoon!Hmmm so disappointed about the mark I told to my mother that we will be maybe second ahah (true story lol) But I understand that we can improve our style. I'm agree with you off course ^^ I'm happy to see that you enjoyed your dinners , it's difficult to be always very powerful on every dishes but we always trying to. One day we will do it like you said! :D Just to know... Can you send me an email of what were your first dinner and the second one? Even if I have an Idea of the second one (Rolled lamb for the pre starter am I right?) We were so proud of that menu, specially the duck with the cherry sauce (but it's my own opinion indeed). Remember our email is :[email protected] you very much for your time!Kind regards, well seasoned salutations! The chef Sylvain

This place is such a gem, I had a lovely welcome when entering the restaurant itself (I hadnât booked). Itâs a family run affair and they all seemed to really enjoy it too. Just to pre-warn this isnât a single dish place, you have to order 2-3 course and trust me itâs worth it and itâs not overpriced at all.I went for two courses, a starter and a main (Plus some lovely wine). You have to try the salmon. This is quite a simple review for me but if youâre in Bordeaux make sure you go here for dinner - You will not be disappointed!!All the team is very happy to read those lines ! Thank you so much and we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you another time ! The Nofa team

Le Chef change le menu tous les 15 services, il aime avant tout les produits, et fait en sortes de les sublimer tout en gardant leur goût propre. Cuisine terre et mer, simple, singulière, épurée, l'objectif n'étant pas de proposer une expérimentation culi
We heard so much from trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We are a family of four. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. Isabelle was a great host and took great care of our needs through out the evening. Every dish was a surprise. Thank you.
