We were recommended this place to go for dinner with friends. We will not recommend this place ourselves. The food is middle of the road, the service was lousy, the ambiance is "clean" and the atmosphere the sphere of a hotelrestaurant.

Gastronomic restaurant situated in the centre of historical town. Home made dishes with premium fresh regional products. Nice design decoration. Terrasse in the walking street. Large choice of french wines. Warm service.

A little cafe that faces on to a park in vichy.
We have had an amazing lunch at this restaurant. The plates look and taste amazing. Also it has a nice location in Vichy. Only reason I didn't gave it 5 stars was the staff which was a little bit grumpy.

It looks very unprepossessing from the outside but go inside and hope that there's a free table because the food is superb. From the Guadeloupe melon and serrano ham gazpacho amuse bouche, the fantastic deconstructed goats cheese tartelette starter, the lamb with aubergines main course to the cherry clafoutis dessert, every course was a delight of well chosen and carefully complimenting tastes. Very reasonably priced too, as 3 courses is just 28 euros or 31 if you include cheese. Do not miss if you are in Vichy.

Even for a bistro, choice is quite limited: 2 starters plus one not on the menu, 2 mains (one fish one meat) and 2 desserts for 25â¬, which is very good value. We had the home-made terrine followed by the slow-cooked beef, which was delicious.Service was good, they let us go with our pace. Nice bistro atmosphere, as long as you can avoid the tables next to the toilet.

Charming Building in a new decor, the Chateau du Bost welcomes you to Bellerives/Allier in a refined and elegant setting for a friendly and relaxing break. A fine and expressive cuisine around seasonal products and organic vegetables from the farm model a
The service in the restaurant was prompt, efficient and pleasant. The Maitre D was most helpful in suggesting a red wine for my wifes fish. We had an excellent meal; yes, the choice is small, but it was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Foie gras starters, succulent filo wrapped salmon, perfect and very good Ravioles aux langoustines. An astonishing and succulent cheese selection. My wife had a lemon tart for desert , that was good but not excellent. The Maitre D charged us for a half bottle of very good local red, i ve forgotten the name, even though the long wine list has no half bottles, Breakfast was good, a choice of excellent local cheese, jams, hams and very good bread indeed. Yogurt was sweetened, and all the cereals were sweet kiddie style. Coffee again was very good indeed. Lots of choices of teas.Admittedly we had booked a basic room, but it was tiny and cramped, so I banged my head on the sloping roof. No bedside lights, the fridge was off when we arrived and a rather filthy rust mark of a can of coke in the fridge. Broken light, that was promptly replaced. Bathroom small, neat and clean.More of a possible problem, the lift does not reach the second floor, and no one offered help with the suitcases. This is a very good restaurant with rooms, but its an excellent restaurant. If you do stay here, either book a larger room or be prepared for very cramped sleeping quarters.

We arrived at around 7:45pm and all the tables were filled in an hour on a very wet Saturday. We had two glasses of their campagne which was excellent. We had asparagus with poached egg soup and artichokes with fois gras as appetizers. Both were excellent. I particularly like the cured meat (beef?) in the artichoke dish. For main, I had their signature beef steak and my copin had their canard confit. I think they are both good but my copin really enjoyed the beef steak and its sauce with a thin slice of fois gras. I find their portion too big but probably that's just me. Everyone else in the restaurant seems to have licked clean their dishes.Love the distance between tables. No worries of forced eavesdropping of others' conversations and vice versa.

It is in chalets Napoleon III, Jacques and Martine Decoret have built their new restaurant in 2008. An advanced glass topped with a green roof that extends the brick building built under Napoleon III. The whole is ultimately extremely harmonious. Room res
Great adventure having a dozen course tasting menu here - much better even than expected. They did a great job welcoming us even in English. Very big focus on local and regional products, still very creative and many unexpected components. Also very flexible providing for the younger kid. Looking forward to being in Vichy again, even just for this restaurant. The rooms in the hotel above were homely and comfortable

Stopping here for a quick drink was a poor choice. The service was incredibly slow and the price of the drink a little excessive. The attention to care of the customer is dreadful and the glass arrived not just a little bit dirty, but as if it had not been washed at all.
