It's a restaurant with rooms and is listed in the Logis de France guide, situated in very pleasant countryside. That's why I chose it and I was pleased with both my room, the restaurant and price. The view from my window was delightful. Getting there - a drive through this charming little part of France alongside a river.Checking in - a bit bothersome as they don't open until 1730 (I didn't see a note to that effect). Fortunately, I got there at 1715 along with other customers and we were all baffled! They did in the end! They were friendly!Room - fine, comfy bed, shutters, television, en suite. Clean. Restaurant - it was outside dining as the weather was fine, a nice meal serenaded by a chaffinch (fr pinson). Local and seasonal.Breakfast - everything you'd expect of a small French hotel.Value - very good.I would return.

My over-riding memory of this hotel is of the hilarious dining room design, very 1980s although clearly more modern, with lights which change colour (through the blue spectrum - which really enhances the food!), chairs in different shades of purple and a polystyrene swirling ceiling!Eight of us ate dinner here and the service was simply terrible. I don't know if the kitchen couldn't cope with the number. The wine suggestions were dreadful, especially an undrinkable local 'white' the colour of Irn Bru. It then It took us 1.5 hrs to get our starters and over 3 hours to get the full meal. Despite several requests, we didn't get any bread until it arrived with the starters. The food was all over-sauced, so very rich.Note, the hotel didn't open until 16.00 so no early check or luggage drop and checkout is 10 am when they're hoovering outside your room waiting to get in. It seems to be run by a husband and wife with minimal help and the staff were positively surly in the morning implying that they hadn't had much rest as we'd been at dinner until late the night before! Breakfast was also quite basic.  However, one positive is that the rooms are very nicely designed for a 2* and Room 10 is particularly lovely, huge with exposed beams and a really great bathroom.

After following Google directions for a long distance road trip we found ourselves hungry and needing somewhere to stop. As we drove past we thought it looked interesting so popped in. Such a pleasant find, I have never been the biggest fan of Crepes but the savoury steak and crepe meal I had has completely converted me. A lovely little place that seemed popular with locals. Service was good and the facilities were equally good but it was the quality of the food that won us over! Would highly recommend!

Found this by accident after an extensive search for accommodation in Besancon. Put in a sparsely furnished overpriced tiny double room with cramped shower room. On the plus side the host was friendly and helpful and despite the dubious décor, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed an average priced evening meal. Breakfast though was barely adequate and slightly over priced.

Venu pour prendre une assiette déjeune rapide, jâai découvert ce restaurant par hasard, niché au cÅur du centre ville. Tout est simple, bon, rapide, sans chichi et bon marche.

Excellent choice of dishes, attentive service, moderate prices. What more can you ask? We have been here twice with a five year gap in between and we were amazed that they remained consistent in their quality of service. The regional menu has the usual three courses each with large portions, but when one adds the amuse-bouches, entremets, etc. you can expect to have a very long lunch. But a very pleasant one. We will come again for a third time!

A restaurant full of hungry patrons, yet the owner goes about cheerfully greeting new arrivals and serving those already seated. The menu is limited but whatever is on is cooked well and served with a smile. Situated in the picturesque town of Baume Les Dames, the restaurant is bustling. Warm decor compliments the owners cheery disposition. The starter while waiting is a delight and reminds you more good things are coming.
