Lâactuel is a lovely small restaurant however I would definitely recommend booking as it gets extremely busy. Nice decor and the food is delicious but one dish wasnât just as good. Service was good however one man was very unwelcoming Overall though I would recommend!

If a finer view exists over Lake St Croix, I don't know of it. 4 of us went for a perfect lunch this week. Attentive service along with amusing banter was delivered in full by our waiter after he first seated us on the terrace overlooking the lake. Perfect weather helped. We opted for the 19.5 euro menu and were absolutely delighted by the choice, quality and presentation of the food. A really lovely touch with the salmon fishcake was that it was served as a cake. It looked like a muffin, but was packed with salmon flakes and was really tasty. The steaks were very flavoursome and the trout gorgeous and fresh. Our lunch was taken over about 2 1/2 hours and along with aperitif's, 2 litres of good house rose and coffees came to less than 130 euros. Even very affordable. We've eaten here 3 times now, but this was the best and I am looking forward to our next visit, which will sadly not be until our next holiday

We had a delightful lunch on their terrace on this sunny late September day overlooking the lake and enjoying the good food and pleasant local wine. The quality and presentation of the dishes we chose were good and there was a nice atmosphere. The service was very efficient and friendly.

Nous sommes un établissement saisonnier ouvert de mai à septembre. Ouvert du petit déjeuner 8h à tard le soir... Avec pleins de soirée à thème
We visited this restaurant two days ago following some advices in Tripadvisor. The location is not outstanding, we sat in a small table facing the street and the close camping swimming pool. But we did not have any reservation and did not see the view from the terrace. The personnel was very welcome and quick. We ordered a pizza Margherita for my son (despite we did not want ... being Italian) and asked to avoid Emmental on it -- the pizza was in fact just 'eatable' for me but good for my son ... the dough was flavorless, and not well cooked. So I would not recommend the pizza to Italian visitors. My daughter had chicken nuggets with very good fries. I split a starter with my husband ... a very good 'Truite du Verdon' with rice and salad -- as main dishes we had a goat cheese salad (rich and tasty with jam, nuts, green salad, tomatoes and fried goat cheese ... maybe too much fried) and a great Beef Tartare with an egg on top, served with fries and sale. The meat was very tasty and fresh - we liked it very much. To finish we had a local liqueurs avec gourmandises (local liqueur - like pear grappa with a thym sorbet served with a piece of tarts tatin, crème brûlée and bread chocolate cake) very good and a plate of profiteroles that were filled with frozen ice cream . Good but difficult to eat as still frozen. So, to summarize, the local homemade and traditional dishes were very good, stay on these choices. Good to try -

We enjoyed two nice dinners at Domaine de Majastre during our stay in the Bauduen. One simple dinner consisting of a very nice vegetable soup, and a lamb stew accompanied with a nice red and white wine. The day after we enjoyed the full truffle dinner, which included white truffles on top of everything. Could be a bit mote creative in the use of the truffels, but all dishes were nice and a local red wine served accompanying the meal was perfect. The breakfast at Domaine de Majastre was also nice, a simple French breakfast with nice pastries. The staff are very attentive and service minded, and the restaurant is very nice situated in the countryside. As a relative important curiosity, they do not have the possibility for card payment - so remember cash.

We had lunch there and as it was a bit windy we sat in the sheltered section. They were able to prepare a vegetarian dish. The bread served was delicious. The location is great and offers a lovely view over the lake. Will be going back.

What a find! On the lake, with a great menu including really high quality gallettes, crepes, and salads. The flavour combinations are delicious - I tried four gallettes and would highly recommend Provencal and Complete with tomatoes. The staff are very warm and friendly. Couldn't have been a better experience after a day at the lake. Very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back!

My family reserved an early table during an overnight in Tahiti. We didn't really know what to expect except what we'd read in reviews, but we went and were just delighted at the outcome! Word of warning though, they serve huge portions for French cuisine so choose carefully and be prepared to share around the table! The menu is fresh with beef, fish, and lamb as you might expect in a French restaurant but the preparation was light, meticulous and beautifully presented. Loved the service as well. Cannot say enough good things about the gentlemen that took care of our table! We had a fabulous foie Gras so beautifully seared and melt in the mouth tender! My son enjoyed a Mahi mahI dish with a heavy cream sauce that was too rich for me but perfect for a big appetite. Honestly, everything was delicious. And, even with the big portions, the table was clean when we left! One other word of warning. The next day we tried to walk in at lunch but it was packed! You must make a reservation if you want to enjoy this gem!!

La Part des Anges is modeled on Spanish Tapas restaurant with a shared-eating concept. We aim to serve only the freshest ingredients, sourced locally and ethically as possible. Located in a 12th century hotel, the terrace offers a nice view on Moustier's
We arrived a little late into Moustiers and were trawling around the town looking for a bite to eat at around 2:45pm. Most places had just stopped serving lunch, but this restaurant welcomed us in. We weren't expecting much as it was basically our last option, but we had amazing seats on the shady terrace overlooking what has to be the most panoramic view from any restaurant in the town! The place was empty and the waiter who served us had excellent English (with an English accent... maybe he studied at an international school or has lived in the UK?) We ordered baked Camembert and a tomato tart, both of which were delicious. Plus the obligatory glass of Bau (a sparking Muscat made in nearby Fourcalquier -- yum)! Thanks for your feedback David, We are extremely happy you enjoyed your time here at La Part des Anges.
