Bistrot Resto Brasserie de qualité, plats fait maison au fil des saisons. Poissons, fruits de mer, hamburger à emporter ou sur place. Ambiance chaleureuse et familiale
L'EN BAR QUAI fills a much needed niche in the centre of Barneville. A well appointed small restaurant that serves good and very reasonably priced Menu du joux -- three courses for 14.30 euros.I had on my last visit, Salade de sardines marinees followed by Pave de saumon aux petite legumes then Panna Cotta aux fraises. Delicious. All accompanied with a pleasant Rose de Provence. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. If you are passing through don't be disappointed if the L'en bar quai is full -- it is good and very popular. If you staying in the area make certain and reserve a table. It is hard to think of reasons not to give 5 stars for a restaurant aimed at this market. Maybe the coffee lets them down or was it my palate?

This is a great and reasonably priced restaurant with new owners since I visited 5 years ago. Small and authentic the service is friendly and informal. A variety of dishes are served but galettes and pancakes are in abundance. There is also an open grill for meat dishes. The courses are large with the galettes being some of the best I have tasted. There is the usual selection of bottled beers but no draught on tap. You need to book here and can eat inside or out with parking opposite across the road. Excellent value for money and a very enjoyable evening.

Coming here for years. This time visited twice for lunch in four days. Perfect setting on a sunny day, but be early if you want to sit outside, because they don't take bookings at lunchtime. Sardines, spare ribs, burger, king prawns still our favourites. Portions good, chips nice. Food arrives surprisingly quick after ordering. Staff amazing, so efficient and friendly, very hard working. No surprise will visit next time whilst in France.

Ate here last Saturday night while staying in the village overnight. Walked past a few restaurants but decided to eat here. Ate outside but covered by canopy and at the side as it was getting breezy and cooler in the evening . Friendly waitress. Very generous portions. I opted for the veal chop with sauce. My sister and brother in law chose the steak and it was enormous. A huge bowl of chips were provided which we could not finish. Excellent cider and wine.

Nice, cozy & very stylish medium size restaurant, the food is sort of "nouvelle cuisine" and elaborate without being pretentious and expensive...The menu of 4 choices costs only 31 Euros, a bargain for that quality, but don't expect large quantities . We were served by a friendly young and attentive staff, lacking sometimes a bit of professionelism but nothing to complain ( ladies: ask to be greeted by the chef, you'll drump dead!). A wonderful dinner in a peaceful atmosphere!

We have been coming here for years and never left disappointed. The menu has changed over the years and now the set menus are amazing, excellent value, don't know how they do it!? We had â¬25 menu, foie cras with some warm meat with salad, wood fire cooked duck -huge portion!, couldn't eat it all, it was delicious - cheeses and tart tatin. Wow! And all that for the price! The cook is now younger generation, he has obviously been taught well, he knows how to cook perfection.Staff friendly and efficient. Going back when next in France.

Seaside restaurant proposing local seafood and "terroir" products. On the fishing port of Carteret.
Went here on a work trip from Guernsey travelled over on the rib - can only say it was excellent from beginning to end - their seafood platter starter was unbelievable and such good value - would certainly recommend - cannot wait to go again

Marisa and Benoit have taken Carteret by storm and created a wonderful business which caters for all ages. They are marvellous hosts, friendly and welcoming. The location is stunning and they serve a wide range of terrific cocktails as well as all other drinks. The food too, served Tapas style, is top quality and very reasonably priced. Lovely people whose success is well deserved.

This hotel restaurant looks very Art Deco rather like a liner. The views over the water and the sand bar are lovely.Really competent cooking and a very pleasant lunch.Starters of oysters and scallops beautifully presented and delicious. Mains of rabbit and pigeon were earthy and good. Finished with a delicate tarte tatin or at least a deconstructed one.Delicious food- this was a return visit.
