Although they were finishing serving lunch, the staff kindly made us 2 very good Salad Italienne and fresh coffee with a smile. The ambience is very nice as well. Highly recommended!

We must say a huge thank you, and an apology. An apology for our extremely limited ability to speak French, and a thank you for such a terrific experience. We are an over 50 year old couple. It was our last night in France after a week long visit in Normandie area. We were looking for a casual, comfortable, light dinner. We found the perfect place. Great atmosphere. I should have asked the waiter's name but he was charming, helpful and kind. He recommended their crepe of the day which was fantastic, as well as a delicious dessert, riz au lait. We can highly recommend this charming place.

Just off the train, we were looking for a nice place to have a lunch. This restaurant fit right into our plan. We chose the prix fixe lunch of two courses. We chose salads and plats but finished it off with creme brûlée. All were fresh, tasty and very satisfying. We sat outside as did most of the customers. Surprising the street noises fade away. Our waitress was very helpful. We didn't order hamburgers but they looked awesome when served to another table.

History in the making! My husband and I were on tour with other seniors on the Seine River where we spent two days visiting Paris. How wonderful it was to be able to see history of my favorite artist Van Gogh. We toured his home and gardens which were magnificent and then where he spent his final months. Auvers-sur-Oise is a community in the northwestern suburb of Paris, France. During the 19th century a number of painters lived and worked here, including Paul Cezanne, Charles-Francois Daubigny, Camille Pissarro and Vincent Van Gogh. Van Gogh had many famous paintings from his time in the area, including Auvers Town Hall, Village Scene-Aubers and The Church of Auvers. Many of these sites are still visible today. The Auberge Ravoux isnow a restaurant. This is a must to visit even if Van Gogh was not one of your favorites. It's all about history and beauty. This is a very lovely town.

We decided to try this restaurant because they have their up-to-date menu on internet and we saw I could have a vegetarian meal. We booked by phone as it was a Saturday evening and got their last table for two. The service was friendly but not invasive, the food was very good (we tried the caviar d'aubergine, pumpkin soup and rissotto and my friend had fish). There were some original flavours which is always a nice surprise. The deco is soft and modern. My only regret is that there was a bit too much light for a Saturday evening. I would have removed a few more light bulbs. I would definitely go back with friends for a nice quiet evening meal. There is a small terrace set back from the road which might be nice in summer.

Simply perfect. Went there by chance because we tried the other best rated restaurants in town first and both of them were closed. The welcoming was just great, super professional. They explained you every single thing you ate, it was super original. So trendy and the quantity of food was more than enough. I really enjoyed it I think i finished the bread three times.Had a "pain gonglé" or something like that as starter that was a kinfd of superb mixture of mushrooms and duck with pizza break in a cool way... Loved it.As a main had "caille" bird which i really dont know how to translate, super tender and the sauce was awesome....Then a waffle to end if all up. Super original.I will come back everytime im around, strongly recommend it.Its the first 5 stars I give to a restaurant in a long time.

A small restaurant close to the famous Auvers church, cosy and quiet. The owner and her fellow cook like to imagine delicious recipes for today based on local traditional meals. In addition, most of the food is purchased in the nearby farms. English spoke
We had our last meal of our ten days here and we're quite pleased. I had a spectacular seared foie gras and a tasty salmon "burger". Others enjoyed their pork dishes and filets. Flan was excellent.

I was privileged to have been taken to Le Chiquito for a business dinner and, from beginning to end, had a truly exceptional experience. We had a private room off the main entrance, and our small group was very well served. The staff were engaging, but not obsequious(well, maybe the head waiter was a bit over the top, but it was entertaining not irritating). Every course was wonderful. The grenouilles et escargots (frog legs and snails) appetizer was "to die for" and my fresh sea-perch was "perchfectly" cooked. One of our group, a "foodie," had the chef's special dish (veal kidney or sweetbreads, I can't recall) which he indicated was orgasmic.I had the cheese board selection for dessert. Order it. Yes, the chocolate grenache looked wonderful, but order the cheese. The meal was likely expensive, but absolutely worth it. The priciest item on the menu was the cab ride back into Paris for the night!

This is an excellent restaurant that is recently opened (7 months according to the chef) with not only delicious food, but friendly staff and a great environment. While the interior is not excessively fancy and the exterior is discrete this was a fabulous place to enjoy a 3 course meal for about â¬50
