We know this restaurant know for over 10 years and it never disappoints us. We went for ;lunch or dinner, take our friends and family. Food is made from local products, the wine list is very kind to your wallet. The staff is very kind and speaks enough English to feel welcome.

Really good crepes, so soft dough. Kind waiter. Good cider. The local is not really fancy but ok (small though). We tried to repeat the experience at lunch time (there is a chep menu for lunch), but the time schedule for lunch it is kind of frenchy ;-) Until 14:00

Went for a birthday lunch but the menu was very disappointing compared to previous years and the waitress got our order mixed up and then blamed us despite other members of the group hearing us order correctly. Menu was quite limited and very pork and lamb orientated. Ran out of kids meals and desserts were very average. No fois gras on the menu either. Gave 4* as previous visits have been very good.

This may look to be a fairly ordinary restaurant from the road (it is in Guchan, on the right of the main road travelling between Arreau and St Lary) but it is a really good place to enjoy a well-cooked meal. On arrival you will find that there is plenty of car parking space immediately outside. Once inside, the seating and tables are well spaced apart and, overall, it is a comfortable place to have an evening meal. In good weather there is also the option to eat outdoors on a large terrace adjoining the main building. The decor inside is rustic but also clean and bright, with attractive place settings on the tables. Service is friendly and efficient. The staff seem to genuinely want to be helpful and are attentive. Both waitresses that served us spoke very good English but were happy for us to try our French when we wanted and as well as we could. The menu offers plenty of choice and reflects the food of the local area (duck, lamb, pork & beef) though seafood also features extensively. As with virtually all restaurants in France, there are a selection of set-menus at different prices, as well as the option to choose individual dishes from La Carte. Whatever choices you make, you are unlikely to go hungry - the dishes are hearty and portions are substantial! There is a good wine list with reasonable prices and the option to buy some wines by the glass as well.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here with friends and all agreed it was an excellent "find". I've no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to anyone with a good appetite!.

The two ladies running this "cafe" try their best to accommodate every one, and when it is full it is not so easy as they also serve simple plated that need time to prepare, crepes are freshly made, good choice of Ice cream. They have inside and veranda sitting and on a market day the veranda is great !

Well situated in the centre of Arreau alongside the river Neste. I was very lucky to have been given a table as it was market day (Thursday morning) and the restaurant was completely full. I went towards the end of service and the owner was very kind as I only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The 3 course well priced "menu du jour" with a choice of starters, main course and desert was very good and copious as I saw on an adjoining table before ordering so I asked for smaller portions which was kindly provided. The restaurant with it's covered and open terrace is extremely well designed and I will certainly eat there again. Arreau's market is one of the best in the Pyrénées and is a big attraction all year round, certainly worth a visit. A final note for familie: there is a play area for children and also a childrens menu. Bon appétit.

A custom made interior gives the restaurant a welcoming charm. We enjoyed the crepe and salad for lunch. Plenty of food reasonably priced. Staff were friendly.

-Location: 4/5 (in the center of Arreau, few seats available, domestic environment)-Menu: 5/5 (large selection of crêpes, generous portions)-Service: 3/5 (friendly, but quite slow)-Price quality: 5/5 (good price quality ratio)I came alone for a lunch and had an excellent crêpe. Toppings were tasty and portions large. On the negative side, service was quite slow as the place was crowded.
