It's a must to ask for an inside table, it's where the locals sit, better glasses too.menu extensive ,wine reasonable, great decor.Food quite good,we will go again tonight.

La Crèperie du Singe est un très sympathique établissement qui a le mérite d'avoir une identité forte et de proposer des produits typiquement bretons. Grosse amatrice de crèpes et déjà cliente régulière d'un autre établissement d'Armentières, j'ai voulu le tester pour faire mon avis et j'avoue que le résultat est mitigé.-Niveau horaires, c'est assez chaotique. Globalement en dehors du week-end et du Lundi midi, c'est fermé - ce qui laisse peu de marge de manoeuvre quand il s'agit de se décider au dernier moment.-Niveau service, RAS c'est impeccable : la serveuse a été très efficace et sympathique.-Niveau cuisine, malheureusement, je suis obligée de comparer avec le second restaurant Armentièrois qui propose ce genre de carte, et force est de constater qu'à prix quasi équivalent, on est ici clairement en dessous. Autant la galette de sarrazin en elle-même est très bonne (croustillante, goûtue, quoiqu'un chouia fine), autant la garniture ne m'a pas semblée être de qualité. Le fromage n'avait que peu de goût, la charcuterie était anecdotique... et la portion, globalement, était un peu petite. Il ne manque pas grand chose à cet établissement pour prendre sa place : en attendant, il souffre malheureusement de comparaisons en sa défaveur...

Voilà un très bon restaurant dans un cadre agréable. Les salades sont top, les desserts sont simplement exélent. Très bon rapport qualité / prix. Je vais devoir venir plus souvent !

My friends and I went out for a birthday celebration dinner and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was very good too. The waiter even put a candle on my friend's crepe! In a small town like Armentieres it is nice to find a good restaurant where one can eat and enjoy. We had savory and dessert crepes and both were amazing.The staff spoke some English which was a nice break from the usual French I'm used to in the town. Still, if you're looking for a good place to eat this is it!

We were recommended to the Ch'Carrefour Gourmand by the proprietor of our beatiful B&B in Houplines. After walking around Armentieres town for half an hour waiting for opening time.. we decided that this eatery would be the best option as it offered a better selection than steaks or tripe. We had not booked but were welcomed by the chef and staff and enjoyed a really good traditional French bistro meal, Magret de Canard, perfectly cooked and tender. Very reasonably priced and lovely atmosphere.

Four of us visited this restaurant for dinner. The service was very good...attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent and we felt it was good value. And we could also have a good conversation... so the noise level, which often bothers us, was not an issue. Le Fil Rouge exceeded our expectations. We had an extremely pleasant evening.Thank you for your nice review, we are glad that you had a good evening and that we exeeded your expectations. We were a group of 9 cyclist touring around Armentières and we found the restaurant very welcoming. The food was delicious, the presentation was delightful and it all very reasonably priced. We liked it so much we went back the following day for lunch. Well worth a visit.

An amazing find in a small french town. The food was astronomical - every single course we ate was original and delicious - and the dessert was truly spectacular. It was random that I ended up in Amentieres for a night, and now I will actively find ways to visit again just to be able to eat here!

We stayed at La Howarderie and had breakfast & dinner here for four days. The breakfast was "standard" from the grocery store fare, but plenty. The dinner was cooked to order and nice. The salad with chevre pastry was great. The lime sorbet was great as well. Its a popular place. The owner-couple run the farm and the B&B.
