Things to do in Roxas City
Tatay Libod is just not a restaurant... it's a place to hang out with friends while watching the Sunset and the ocean... a place for lovers (private Nipa Hut), an array of exotic drinks such as Margaritas, Pina Colada, Mojitos and local drinks .... the food is always fresh and hot. The gift/souvener shop is hit .. ranging from ladies wear, beach stuff, to children toys... one stop shopping. At night they have Karaoke Bars.. great for groups get together. A relax atmosphere makes it interesting for a small place like Roxas City.Parking is not a problem because it's next to the People's Park and very well lighted.

Our cousins came n from Iloilo and we fed eleven people here. We kept waiting for people to leave so we could put together some tables and it didn't take long before we had our orders. It's kind of hectic there as they run a good turnover business. Food was good if you like the Jolibee flavors My wife ordered me the big burger and I should have used a fork and knife on it as it was really sloppy with mayoainse and lettuce and stuff. I didn't hear any complaints and we were not rushed out. Service was good and food was OK. Enjoy!

the sweetness of the product contradicts the service crews attitude on customer. you can expect a big frown on the people that will serve your food. the buko pie is just a buko pie nothing special. the palabok is just a plain palabok, just noodles. there's a lot of better places to eat on the vicinity

Positives: The seafood was great. Special mention goes to their garlic & buttered SCALLOPS. Amazing flavor. The grilled fresh danggit was good although some parts tasted bitter and odd.For improvement: The view could be better (beach needs cleaning) and the place needed interior cohesiveness (chopsuey design). The best part of that late lunch at Almax is the price. We had buko juice, rice, grilled chicken and fish, plus scallops and soup all for P1200 (there were 6 of us).

This is a new restaurant in Roxas City. It is beside Ramboy's, another restaurant in Pueblo de Panay.
I and my husband, together with friends had dinner in this favorite restaurant. The food served like fish fillet, liempo, pancit, crispy pata are extra delicious and affordable. Service is good and the place is accessible since it is along the main road going to a mall.
A must-try in Kalibo. Be here early especially during lunch or dinner time as there are a lot of patrons who eat here. Their halo-halo is really good.
The family ate lunch here - stuffed squid, pork bbq, pork sisig and pinakbet. The food was good and priced reasonable BUT the service was slow as it took them more than an hour finally feed us.

The Cafe Terraza we visited is the one located at Circulo Convention Center at Pueblo de Panay in Roxas City. While I don't find anything spectacular about the food and drinks the cafe offers, its location is spectacular! I suggest that you take the outside seats, not those inside the restaurant. The cottages are lovely and they offer you a refreshing view of the surrounding hills.

This restaurant is highly rated and the picture we had formed was a far cry from reality. Cold storage of food such as seafood, which spoils so quickly is entirely lacking and the area where the food is displayed is unhygienic. There is no iced seafood, not even the oysters. Service is slow and indifferent, as other reviewers have pointed out. The place is grubby, I photographed the plastic chairs with their ingrained grime, wondering how any restauranteer expects paying customers to sit on them. Street urchins pop under the sail and beg for money while you are trying to eat. Ultimately, the meal was overpriced and not great. The seafood at Hotel Antonio resort across the road is beautifully presented, tastier and thus ultimately, better value for money. As are all of the restaurants on the beach, this restaurant contributes single use plastic in a major way, which leaves the beach in an appaling state. In every way, Coco Veranda should clean up its act.
