Classic... Elegant... Those were my initial impression as soon as we entered Imprenta in Hotel 1925. It felt like I was brought to the period of my grandparents with the restaurantâs black & white tiles, dark wood furniture, arched doors, subdued lighting, and antique decors. It was full of character - perfect for IGThe restaurantâs menu is extensive and consists of modernized Filipino-Spanish dishes, even offering Batangueño specialties. First timers wonât have a difficult time choosing what to order since recommended dishes are marked. Our order consisted of beef kare-kare, morcon, and sinaing na tulingan (braised bullet tuna). The dishes were delicious but I have always had issues with dishes that are given a modern twist because they oftentimes become complicated. With the dishes Iâve tried in Imprenta, it appears to me that the original flavors I was looking for were lost and the addition of extra flavors made me fed up or âsawaâ with the dishes. The only dish that remained authentic to me was the kare-kare. I got lost with the morcon and the fish and they made me realize that nothing beats the original way of cooking them. Dishes were served generously but prices were on the high side so be sure to bring enough cash. The dishes were not served simultaneously, the morcon took the longest time and the extra garlic rice was served late. One of the nice things about the hotel is that it has ample parking space. Imprentaâs staff were also very nice and attentive.
Lomi King just a walk away from a well known school in Lipa Batangas! So be early when you want to go there as the restaurant gets full easily, so try before lunch or after lunch time. Best was to start is the special Lomi! With full of flavors, sticky sauce, and good tasting pork liver and some meat balls! YumYum! The only downside here is that, when your seated on the second floor, it gets really hot when you go here by noon or even not. So better place to seat would be the first floor! It also takes time to serve so be patient! :) We'll definitely go back here!

situated along the stretch of national highway in the province of Batangas is this restaurant which offers some of the most craved Filipino dishes. Since this restaurant is highly accessible, you will find the counters always full of people lining up to select their sought-after dishes and pick them up altogether. usually, people come in droves that's why you will often find their area crowded. ingredients for their dishes are often fresh and you get the best- tasting Maliputo fishes used for several dishes.we, at times, prefer to go in this restaurant because their dishes provide and create a different type of appetite rather than go to fast food chains which litters the adjoining cities. there is ample space for parking and they have the upper floor for some other functions.

This is a classic place known to all locals. They serve good food in the same place as they have for the x number of years. Although there is wear & tear obviously, the place is clean. You will enjoy the ample parking and the pasalubong corner. Be sure to try their chopseuy and krispy pata. The shimp dishes were likewise yummy!

Food is good but not exceptional. Ordered lechon kawali: nothing extraordinary ; stir-fry veggies: very ordinary.Service was fast enough but servers are not attentve. Gave us the bill when we didn't ask for it and we're just starting to eat..There are other more affordable local restos.

The food is good but service and place needs improvement. Food takes a little bit longer than average serving time and the floors are dirty. The food is great though, especially the krispy kare kare. If you are not really particular with dirty, disgusting floors and sticky tables then the food is worth it.
We stoped by Publiko for lunch before heading to our resort destination. The food served were all delicious especially the wagyu salpicao. Soo tender and juicy. The price is also very affordable. They have an airconditioned room and al fresco. People can choose whether they want to sty inside or outside. There is also a bar, probably opens around 6pm.

We ended up having a late lunch at Ala Fiesta since our usual Hapag Kainan venue had their a/c rooms booked. We were not disappointed. We ordered the set menu consisting of crispy pata (pork knuckles with the extra crunch), beef kare-kare & fried chicken. Extras of grilled squid and ensaladang mangga were also ordered. Absolute bliss!! I usually do not order fried chicken (since you can practically order this dish everywhere) but please, try their unique blend. Simple yet tasty.Dining was supremely satisfying since the a/c was very comfortable. Service was a 10++. You did not need to ask the waiter to refill your iced teas or water glasses.Parking was also very convenient.

I love everything from their Bulalo, sinigang to shakes and desserts. You can go here to celebrate birthdays and have many guests because the place is spacious. They renovated. They still have the huts for reception venues and others
