Subs were OK but prices were absolutely ridiculousâtwo half subs and one iced tea came to $19.68! (See photos of menu board showing prices.)Woman preparing food was a little annoying. I reviewed the list of options, then (very clearly) requested lettuce, tomato, light onions and seasoning. As she was making it, she asked if I wanted an oil mixture. I repeated that I just wanted lettuce, tomato, light onions and seasoning. She replied âI know you said that, but I just wanted to make sure that you didnât want oilâ. No, I didnât want oil. Or salt. Thatâs why those werenât included in the things that I said I wanted... Itâs a very small restaurant yet they feel compelled to have a TV... So very annoying when you just want to go out for a meal and sit and actually talk to someone that nearly every restaurant feels they must have a TV on... If we wanted to watch TV, we would go home and watch what WE want! Also, Iâd like to know what happened to the photos (showing dirty equipment) which were posted along with our 6/24/15 review. They were previously visible on Tripadvisor and have now disappeared...
Wow, food was good but expensive, especially for such a "no frills" experience. It would be nice if they would set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature so we didn't have to wear coats... Also, perhaps they could turn the music down so the person sitting right next to me could hear me!! Also, I wish they had (fresh-brewed) iced tea.

After all the noise about the place we waited till things died down after opening, tried the place, the first time the hamburgers were okay but on the dry side, the fries were awful! I don't know what seasoning they put on them but it made them terrible. The shakes were okay but the server spilled one the first time and we had to wait longer for them to make a new one. The second time we visited the hamburgers were TOO dry, tried the onion rings and they were terrible. and the shakes left bad after-tastes. Two bad experiences were more than enough, won't be going back.

Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for
I don't know what happened to this place, I've eaten here a few times in the past and never had a problem. Tonight was a totally different experience... I ordered the foot-long chili cheese dog, and it turned out to be the foot-long chili cheese disaster. The foot long and the fries were piled up into something that resembled a small shallow bowl... Not to mention the chili and the cheese was dripping over the side. I had a very long day driving, and there was no other place open to get anything that resembled food... Needless to say you couldn't pay me enough to eat here again. We won't mention that funky music they were blasting in there, either... the only way I can describe it is listening to one broken record after another. Absolutely not worth it.
At Wendy's in Brownstown Township, MI we're serving burgers made with 100% fresh, never frozen beef. Order natural cut fries, Wendy's classic chicken nuggets, fresh salads, a sweet Frosty®, or meaty Baconator® at a Wendy's near you. See our Wendy's Browns
Cashier didnât know if they accept ApplePay (sadly, they donât!). Manager comped order - nice surprise! MANY selections not available in coke freestyle machine - chronic âWendyâsâ issue . If you arenât going to have all the flavors all the time, thereâs really no sense having one of these because all it does is annoy and frustrate the customers when they canât get what they want.
