Itâs quite hard finding an establishment that consistently produces tasty burgers or wings, but Gourmet Grill seems to cover it. The beef burgers are really juicy; wings smothered in a sauce that is delicious enough to be eaten on its own, and a really flavoursome hot dog. My only concern is that the buns can sometimes be a little âcrispâ (for a lack of a nicer term to replace âburntâ). I havenât had the chips here because they seemed a little too thick or basic. Itâs a halal-friendly outlet with friendly staff, but hygiene could be better in terms of cleaning tables for customers. Iâd highly recommend checking this place out and maybe making frequent visitations.

Happened to be in Windsor while the streetfood stalls were out in force. Almost chose another stall, but very glad I opted for the Chipsmyth stall - democratic decision with my vocal teenage kids. We selected all four dishes on offer that day - fresh chips with fresh toppings. My favourites were the Mushroom Stroganoff (vegetarian option) and the slow roasted pulled pork with BBQ sauce and coleslaw - all homemade. Chips were freshly cut and cooked to perfection. I understand from the stall holder that he has even catered for a wedding event!! High Quality streetfood which is well worth trying.

Not our usual chippie, but on our last visit to the UK we decided to try Scotts. So glad we did. The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent. The food was delicious, particularly the cod which to my mind is the best fish for frying. Lovely menu and good atmosphere. Well worth a visit

We stopped in at the West Cornwall Pasty Company for a pasty and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the pasties were wonderful. The nice thing about this restaurant is that if you wait until late afternoon, the pasties are greatly reduced in price.
