I will travel across town to this particular Popeye's. I'm always amazed that no matter what time or what my order (or how much I order), it's always piping hot, and it's not from being under a lamp! This is awesome and amazing to me. Great job, Popeye's team. They're always very nice and very friendly. The restaurant is clean. Wonderful!

The Chick-fil-A is like all the others ... EXCELLENT! Every Chick-fil-A that I've been to has been excellent. They are spotless, the staff is pleasant and willing to assist in any way possible. The only drawback is that it is so good, it is always busy.

Soon as I get into the restaurant, a friend of mine calls out my name. It was Jimmy Davis. We went to school together, and a guy named Carey from a group named SMOOTH APPROACH is waiting for his food, and he didnât have to wait long. I go to SAM SILKâS because I know him, and Iâm not going there for taste, Iâm going there to support him, so Iâm not going there to compare his place to somebody elseâs, Iâm just going there. We were waited on by his sister Leslie. She made me feel at home when I was talking to her, so I was impressed. The place was CLEAN (you know Iâm a stickler for cleanliness), and when we got the food, I ate the wings, THEY WERE EXCITING. I also ordered the catfish filet and Sharon got a challenger jr. I have to tell you, the wings were so good, I went back the next day to get more of them. If SYLKâS CHICKEN & FISH was located around the corner like it is in the neighborhood heâs in for those people, it would be my stop at least 2 or 3 times a week. Sharon said she should have got a CHALLENGER SR. A+ all the way.

As if the culinary world was out of ideas, we have another restaurant along the lines of Piada, Chipotle, and you name the build-your-own-meal place. The food was decent and the portions large enough.My biggest beef was how long it took to get through the line. A pretty long wait that wasn't necessarily worth it. Additionally, this location is relatively small so it may be difficult to find a seat. In the summer, there is outdoor seating so that will make it easier.

Saturday afternoon for Lunch. Only maybe 5 other tables seated. Lots of large screens with a variety of Sports etc. could be seen from any angle. We tried the Riblet appetizer. It had some sort of weird breading on them. Did not expect it. Thought they would just be with the hot sauce I ordered with them. I had the Original Salad, large size. I always enjoy it when I stop at a Winking Lizard. Other ordered an Asian wrap. We also had 1/2 order of onion rings. Typical frozen and greasy. Not good at all. Service was OK. Free popcorn when you get in so you have something to munch on waiting to be served.One Iced tea and water, our bill was $34.82 not including tip.

The first time there it was a little confusing on how and what to order. But grab a menu, look it over walk up to the counter and place your order. The people behind the counter are very helpful and patiet.
