My wife and I were in Parkersburg for a couple of days and were happy to see the Shoney's there. We went both days for breakfast. There are many items on the buffet. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs with mushrooms, bacon, and cheese, biscuits and sausage gravy, and grits. I also enjoyed the tropical fruit and melons. Both days Debbie was our server. She provided friendly and attentive service. The coffee was good, and Debbie sent us on our way with a take out cup.

I enjoyed their food, if it is busy seating is limited, service was quick and staff is very nice. Great food! Please extend your hours !

Really good, under-rated sandwiches. Good, under-the-radar deli counter for a grab and go sandwich. I had a roast beef club. Very good. Not a fan of Mister Bee chips, which is all they carry. Anxious to try some of their salads though. They were out when I stopped in (well past lunch rush). This is a lunch counter. No place to sit down. Grab and go.

What if a big box store met a fast food chain? The offspring would be TEXAS ROADHOUSE. mass produced and seems no one there really cared. WHy do I feel like one of the cattle when I enter? The food is not really bad- but the experience is not at all conducive to enjoyable family time or a pleasant visit. I keep trying- but the place seems persistent in delivering a frustrating and bad experience.I repeat- the food is okay- even good sometimes (never great) but the sum total of the her them in, feed them in a rowdy way, move "em out.... maybe my money gets me a better experience somewhere else?

It's not uncommon to see a line waiting for that delicious dog with chili. Not sure what or why or how they do it, but they really are good! A local favorite and people have been going for decades!

This little hometown shop has been here quite a number of years...selling hot dogs and homemade chili...summer chicken salads...pickled eggs....Stewart sodas.... and every way you can imagine a hot dog.....by the numbers alone I figure there's 30 different styles of "dressed dogs" and Nick Swisher stops when he's in town with family... been eatin' these dogs since he was a youngster.... so have the rest of the locals.... cold weather soups are generally available making this little lunch shoppe really appealing. Nice people too.

I had not ate at this particular Steak n Shake before but have ate at several others. The ones I have ate at in North Carolina always had the best shakes ever. This one was no different. Was nice to see consistency from State to State. We also got burgers and fries and they were very tasty as well. You pay a little more but the food is really good. Cant say much more about it because we used the drive thru.
