The Stand is the restaurant that emerges when the mouth-watering tastes of a big-city hot dog joint meet culinary creativity, cleanliness, Southern hospitality, and the character of an historic east Texas facility.
Hotdogs are such a happy food. This little place is spotlessly clean and the staff makes everyone feel welcome. It is the perfect place to take grandkids for kid friendly lunch. They will even put mac and cheese on their hotdogs. They have a blackboard with a verse of the day. It is just wonderful.

Texas Best Smokehouse is a large Truck Stop/Travel Plaza located on I-20 at exit 571-A. This establishment offers some of the best BBQ, a Sonic Drive-IN, homemade jarred and jerky products. This is a great one stop shop if you are on the road traveling. T
Not sure what the problem was of the guy that said this was crazy overpriced. Musta had a bad day. Have stopped here 20-30 times for gas or coffee but today was lunch. Had brisket plate and 2 sides. Excellent brisket! Sides were better than most you find. Excellent BBQ!! No complaints. And the BBQ sauce was Texas style. Not thick. Great taste. Either Spicey or mild standard. Well worth every penny!
Went for a late lunch on May 12, 2016. 2pm. Never been to this business before. 50's style interior with plenty room to seat. Hamburger and fries were delicious and hot. A good deal for this type of fast food. Inside was very clean too as was the restrooms. Wish they would come to NC!
