We stopped for lunch after visiting Joshua Tree NP. It was around lunch and it was busy. We had to wait for around five minutes to get helped. The food is standard Subway's food and we both got the $6 deal with a six inch sub, chips and a drink. Very good value for money.

Very disappointing. This was our first visit to Papa John, maybe our last. I don't think there is anything wrong with that one in particular, it's the way they do pizza there. Not bad, but not quite what you expect from their adverts and "philosophy".We went for a thin crust. Don't try it. It's like a quiche pastry. The Italians would hate it. Typically of America the vegetable toppings are raw. Loads of cheese to hide the whole bland thing. If you get cheese sticks, you'll get a cheese pizza cut in strips.If you're European best to avoid.

Wanted to eat at 29 Palms Inn, but it was closed, so frantically searched TripAdvisor for SOMEWHERE else to eat after visiting Joshua Tree National Park. The reviews were spot-on. Yes, it's a chain. Yes, it's American/Mexican. But the portions were huge, the prices were low, the food was fresh and tasty, and the staff was just so darn friendly you couldn't help but like the place. Zero atmosphere -- but the place was bustling because, I'm sure, there are a lot of repeat customers in this otherwise food desert (yes, pun intended).

It was my first time at this place today, for lunch. It was great to order a burger with lots of topping choices. I had mine with grilled onions, mayo, and A1 sauce. The fries were fresh and not all greasy tasting either. I'll be back sometime!

I stopped here after coming out of the National Park. The drive through took forever. Like over 25 minutes. Also they were "out of all soda". So i asked for a Icee. All out. So I got my double whopper with no drink. It was hot. But the tomatoes were rather unripe. Not a great meal.
