Reviews on Fast Food food in Swanage, England, United Kingdom. Swanage was a popular seaside resort in Victorian times, and families today continue to enjoy its shallow, calm beach. The recently restored Swanage Pier is a popular spot for fishing. Diving trips and boat tours also depart from here. Don’t miss a trip through the local countryside on the Swanage Steam Railway.

Having visited the Parade fish bar for many years (20+) whenever we visit Swanage, this year's visit was a great disappointment. The seating area was dirty and the table clearly hadn't been wiped all day. The person 'serving' at the counter was surly and the table service (which used to be a great feature) no longer exists. The food was ok, but nothing special. And nearly £30 for 3 x fish and chips and drinks was a bit steep. We'll be visiting another fish bar next time we visit.

Surprised by the variety. Rissoto, curry and of course chicken and fish. The curry was excellent. The risotto was risotto! But the fish and chips is great. Onion rings could be better. They need more onion inside but better is light. Great cup of Yorkshire tea. Try the ginger and lemon tea. The over 60s deal is also good. Despite very few staff, service was very good.

The hungry shark village is a lovely relaxing place over looking the sea with a great seating area to sit and Enjoy the spactacular views of swanage. We Serve fresh ground coffee, freshly made hot donuts, carte d'or premium ice cream, slushys, cold drinks
The setting is lovely, sea views but cosy. Great atmosphere. The service was great - especially given the food is cooked to order. The food was utterly delicious...according to Ed (our 9 year old food critic) it was "the best burger in the world", "Epic" and "awesome". Really reasonable price...and they do soft drinks & beer too!

The fish was overcooked the haddock was a very thin sliver of fish so needed to be cooked according to its size. We asked for them to take a coffee order and no one came back to us. It was busy and the staff were running all over the place. Food took ages which was surprising for a restaurant with a take away downstairs. Won't come back.Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry your experience was disappointing. We would like to investigate this further. Whenever I goto Swanage, I always try to pay a visit to Wimpy. The food is always consistently piping hot, well presented and served quickly. The staff have always been welcoming and friendly. I love this place because it reminds me of when I was a kid back in the 80's. The decor and menu seems to be unchanged! Wimpy restaurants were a lot more common back then and it's a shame there aren't many left on the high street these days.

Local, family-run cafe and take-away in Swanage serving all-day breakfast, lunch and snacks. Located just ten minutesâ stroll from Swanage beach-front and a number of local campsites, the Office Cafe is tucked just inside the entrance of Prospect Business
Great friendly service, nice bacon sandwich which arrived quickly even when they cafe was full - will be back to try more from the menu.
