An authentic experience of spices and flavors that suits the taste buds of South Indians. Some of the mouth watering recipes include Sambar Vada, Idli, Masala Dosas for breakfast and Rasam, Sambar and Appalam for a sumptuous lunch and dinner. A wide range
I have been here many times and tried masala dosa and madras dosa. I prefer the masala dosa as the filling has a tangy taste and the dosa is large enough to feed two people and price is reasonable. I just love the unique taste of the chutneys with the dosa. The taste of South India is definitely brought to your table here.
This cafe is located in the middle of Suva's CBD above Jack's Handicraft. Had a nice hot chocolate and snack. They also have selection of cakes and pastries. If you want a place for a light and quick bite this is the place. Or you can spend time chatting on the verandah area over coffee. Staff are also friendly.

Dan's Fish and Chips is a local favorite of USP students, staff and other locals. Dan's offers fish and chips, fish sandwiches, chicken and chips and chicken sandwiches during the day and closes in the early evening. As an American working in the area, I stop at Dan's at least once a week and am never disappointed. Their fish sandwich is F$6.50 (US$3,75), a real bargin.
