First & last time this Chinese will be used...Looe isnât a big town & serving up badly cooked, low quality food will soon gain a place like this a reputation, if not already. This isnât rocket science, thereâs no excuse.Dear customer,We are very sorry to hearing from you complain about the food.If you donât like your orders, you can bring them back to us.You can exchange to other dishes as similar price which you like.We hope when you have anything unsatisfied about the food please call us back, let us know whatâs the problem. We want to improve our food quality as well as we can.We are good at listening to others suggestions, experiencing the needs of others and humbly accept criticism. Thanks very much in deed.

Popped here for a quick tea. Ordered and paid for a simple chicken burger and chips with salad and sauce and a quarter pounder beef burger. They couldnât even get that right. Order came with no chips, had to reorder them and then they argued that we hadnât paid for them! Chicken burger was disgusting, no salad as requested, literally a dollup of mayo and chilli sauce on a foul deep fried cheapest burger you can buy. Would of taken it all back but didnât unwrap it till we were home. Save yourself the bother and do not use this horrible takeaway!!

Can't see any Signs of the name Harvey's. Perhaps a re brand. With only a sign of a fish on the wall above the door. The food we had was above average and enjoyable. This is a place we will use again. The people working in the plaice remain the same and the interior decor remains the same. Not sure about dropping HARVEYS ???????

We are as proud of our family history as we are of our amazing fish and chips. We love talking to our customers who have been visiting Dave's Diner year after year and reminisce about the old days. We love Looe and love being a part of people's holidays,
Best fish and chips! even our 2 daughter's cleared their plates! We sat in the restaurant, service was prompt and friendly.Would highly recommend.

Having been staying in Looe for a week for the past 5 years, my wife decided she wanted a seafood baguette, it was stuffed with prawns, smoked salmon and salad, she only managed to eat half of it, great value for £5.95

Came here on our first night last weekend and took our meals down the seafront. Everyone (family of 12) loved their fish/sausage and chips. The batter and chips are amazing. Good value too. Will come again next year. Better than Coddy shack

Visited with my parents and we enjoyed beautiful battered cod and haddock, the lightest batter with such a satisfying crunch. Good thick locally baked bread cakes in butter and Cornish tea to wash it all down. Really great and welcoming service. I'm already looking forward to a return visit
