Karl's Fish & Chips is a long standing family run business in the seaside resort town of Prestatyn. We offer take-away or eat in at our café. All fish is freshly cooked to order. We have many other meals from pies to chickens and we are pleased to offer a
We sat in and had 2 regular cod and chips meal and one small for my son. The small cod was actually a really good size. And it came with a drink. Bread and butter and either beans gravy or curry sauce for £5.50. The portions were ample and the batter on cod was so delicious. I would really recommend this place.

My rating is representative of the services provided, NOT the food. This place is probably one of the nicest Chinese takeaways around, but frankly the wait for the food is ridiculous and off-putting. Regardless of whether an order is placed via the phone or in person over the counter, the average waiting time is always around 40 minutes. It is a guarantee that with every visit you will hear customers discussing how long they have been waiting as they were told their food would be ready in 15-30 minutes. Often the wait is over an hour and In my opinion this is totally not acceptable. The wait time provided by the staff misleading and unrealistic, and this level of customer service is not acceptable and needs addressing asap. As far as I know this problem is common knowledge so I'm sure the owners are aware, but nothing seems to change to improve the situation? It's a shame that they don't invest more time into developing their customer service as this would improve their customer satisfaction rate dramatically.

After reading the reviews we were looking forward to trying this place, think we visited on a bad day, this was the worst fish and chips weâve ever had, soggy batter on fish, which if you press it released a layer of fat, chips were very greasy, over cooked and several bad ones in serving. Wonât be going back.

We visited here on the way home and were pleasantly surprised to see all the cooking on display which has got to be good for a take away. Also the menu is more varied than the usual. When delivered the food was again better than most, so all in all surprisingly good

Really local and friendly café located in the village's historic hall (used to be a WW1 army building on the Kinmel Camp). We arrived just as the waitress/owner disappeared to pick up her daughter from school. This wasn't a problem though as we were happy to wait. Sampled some awesome homemade cake and a quality cup of coffee. Friendly pit stop if you are passing through this lovely little village.

Have eaten in and had a couple of lunchtime takeaways. The takeaways are fab value and food is great and freshly cooked.Dining in the restaurant is a little overpriced. The staff where lovely but they are considerably understaffed to let waiting for service.

Been here before but didnât realise you could sit in. Partner on restricted diet so weâre pleasantly surprised to see jacket potatoes on the menu. Staff were pleasant and friendly and food was reasonably priced. Portion size was good. Nice clocks on the wall displaying time in other countries.... not sure some of the times were correct though!! Would definitely recommend and would go back when next in rhyly

Probably my most visited takeaway in StAsaph since moving here. The chicken kebab is a big favourite of mine and many in my company share the same opinion, however when I fancy a change I'm never disappointed with the food and have never been let down. Neil is doing a fantastic job here and will always recommend. Great fast tasty and friendly!
