We were recommended to visit this "street food" bar by the bar tender at our hotel, Yannis. He described the food as "dirty food" which when we discussed it further is on a par with a chippy tea in England...when you need a good bit of comfort food.You can tell the food is good as there are many locals visiting, and also how often the owners young son disappears for deliveries on his moped.Gyros portion is kebab meat with chips, salad and yoghurt with pitta â¬7.50 and is a massive portion. My wife had a chicken club sandwich and that was enormous. Our bill with drinks was â¬17.Loads of other options available, chicken souvlaki was a favourite, my wife's eyes rolled back in her head as she uttered "oh god it's like butter melting in your mouth". Must be good.Great local food, take out if you want to sit on the harbour. Couldn't fault the quality and the friendliness of this family run business. Awesome.

We had some great meals at Taverna Amelia. The first night we were greeted like old friends, felt so welcome! Our son and girl friend who joined us the first night in Sissi were really surprised en felt very welcome as well.The food was delicious as always. We had a great fish platter and hubby enjoyed the steak with pepper sauce. Most nights there is a couple coming in for some songs, we love it. Thanks Lorents and staff, they are all working so hard and stay calm and very friendly!
