We ordered a big portion of cod and a big portion of cod and chips. The pieces of fish were enormous, nicely battered and really tasty. The chips were good too. One portion was enough for 2. It was very quiet in the late afternoon. We didn't have to wait long and the meal was served piping hot. The only negative thing was the dirty floor.

My husband and I were walking home from church this afternoon and happened to see this amazing restaurant. Iâm so glad we walked home a different way. The service was lovely and friendly and advice was also given. We had the jackfruit tacos and a cheeze toastie. OMG!! The flavours and textures were just amazing. I enquired about the âcheezeâ that was used in the toastie and the lady in the kitchen told me it was homemade!! Homemade cheeze which was melty and scrumptious. I canât wait to go back. â¤ï¸

Nothing like a great fish and chip shop. This is one of them. Never had a bad meal here - and the staff are always friendly and polite. In fact, we go out of our way to come here as the food is so consistently good! Best in Plymouth.Definitely one to try, if you haven't!

The British staple - fish and chips! Well, I visit chip shops more often than I probably should... have been to some fantastic shops who produce really great food at amazing value, so the Saltash Codfather needed to be better than amazing; I found it as average. Not bad not amazing, just okay. The chips seemed as if they were frozen chips rather than real potatoes - this makes a big difference - if they were real, what happened? They were okay honestly, just not the best Iâve had. Value? Hmm. It was fine actually and wasnât too expensive for what we had. Would I go back? Hmm. 70% sure I would.
