Discovered this little gem after originally stopping for a coffee on the way back from the beach. Very reasonably priced burgers, and very tasty fries. Burger by no means large but still decent value at 200 MR and they also do very tasty pizzas. As I haven't yet tried the Jeannot burger shack yet, can't say at this point which place deserves the accolade of ' best burger to be had in Flic en Flac'. Reading reviews from others rating with one point on TripAdvisor this place makes me laugh! Last one "Its not a restaurant and they serve Roti only, no variety" sounds to me slight elegant said: stupid! Of course, they serve Roti only! That is WHY you go there, nothing else. I recommend such TripAdvisor to read the reviews first before commenting in such a negative and inappropriate way! Coming back to business: of course â it is the best in Mauritius, think that is why they are mentioned on TripAdvisor. And we can confirm. Freshly made a la minute they offer you a choice out of 5-8 various fillings. Flavors and spices are great, choose your spicy experience on your own. It is really a must and you will quite soon realize: you are not alone, get to the end of the queue. For us it was perfect, donât be worried, it is all clean. We strongly recommend to go for a visit there.

The gentleman that serviced us didn't know a thing. We wanted to know what a beer cost, he said about 150R, what a ripoff the 5star hotels charge that and that's with a view...I ordered a chocolate milkshake (95R) didn't have chocolate only vanilla. There is a Shoprite next door to them!!! The milkshake arrived in a plastic container, it was very watery no ice cream in it at all. No good at all. Will not go back!!!

After a lovely morning on the beach we decided to have lunch. We ordered the beef burgers and a chicken burger. They had a weird texture and taste that put us off eating them. The fries were ok as you canât really get that wrong.
