I used to really enjoy Burgerville. The last two times I have eaten there I was disappointed. Some kind of funky aioli sauce on the Walla Walla onion burger. I thought "Okay, I just wont get that again." The next time ordered a cheese burger with grilled onions, again some funky sauce. Decided not to go back.

Overall, gorilla grill is nice when you need to grab something to eat quickly on the way somewhere. It's the average "fast food" plus a few better items. The burgers are good and so is the macaroni and cheese!

Stopped at this Safeway for an Asian Shanghai meal for two.The fried rice was so old it was crunchy, the chow mein noodles were cold and hard, the teriyaki chicken was tasteless and what we did eat upset our stomachs and gave us gas.The female counterperson was friendly and apologetic about the quality of the food.We were informed that the long- time- chefs' last day was the previous Saturday and the new person cooking the food was not working out.

I would like to say we are a connoisseur of brisket but that's not really true. Everyone has different taste buds and like different things. However, after living in the south, traveling in the south and eating brisket in the south, we've eaten at dozens (or is it hundreds) of places that serve brisket. So, we had to check this place in Woodland out. After all, they advertise it as southern style barbeque. To be fair though the only meat we tasted was the sliced brisket. It's a cute location with only a few tables inside and two tables outside. Ordering was a little confusing. Not only were we confused but so was the lady taking our order. The intent was just to taste the sliced brisket. The back of the menu said you could order it by the pound. We tried. She said it didn't come that way. The only way we could order it was on a plate with sides. What?? So, that's what we ordered. Next question was what sides and what type of beans. So, we ordered red beans and coleslaw. Those are pretty standard sides elsewhere when ordering brisket. We sat outside and the servers were extremely friendly and always checking on us. We had no clue that the beans would just be sparsely spread on top of rice with lots of rice and very few beans but that's how we got it. Never had the side like that and yes, we've been to barbecue places in Louisiana too. Tasted it but didn't eat it 'cuz it wasn't what we expected. The meat wasn't what we expected either. There was a generous portion of brisket but it was doused in their barbecue sauce. That was another "never" in the south. There was plenty of bark and hickory smoked flavor in the meat but without the sauce on it, it would have been pretty dry. Not sure what was up with the brisket but we were very disappointed. Other than the smoked flavor, it was a little tasteless. Will we try again? Well, never the brisket but maybe the ribs. However, if we do, we're not quite so clueless now on what to ask for -- no drenching sauce over the ribs and when we ask for beans, we mean beansSo, I'm a little generous with the 3 stars. My husband said it should be 2 but it's a new business and maybe it's just what others are looking for.
