People are generally so sick of curries after a few days that they are ready to try anything Western. But I would like to warn the fellow travellers about the long waiting lines and the terrible Sri Lankanized food served here. It is full of oil.The resta
A typical KFC. Plenty to choose from. Quick service. The staff looked a bit tired. No major spirit. But the Tower burgers were OK
Clean & hygienic food and the service is moderately good. This is the only reliable place in and around Peradeniya town area for lunch or dinner. Little over priced with respect to the quality of food but prices falls within $ 3-6. Ordering over the phone for takeaway is also possible if you are busy.
Cafe one, a delish indulgence and an extravagant private place specially designed for your own contentment. A comfortable, fun and exquisite place located in the heart of Kandy city welcomes you to experience its mouth watering food and the comfy services
Outside of town, this small restaurant is new and ready for business. It shows off with low prices and good food. We ordered the vegetarian burger with egg and rice and noodles to go. The burger was great, especially the sauce that comes with it. The rice and noodles were fine and tasty. The young gang tries to convert this place into a more hip hideout, where you can chill and enjoy good food for a low price. It still needs some work, such as a little more decorations and better music. But they try hard and do their best. The focus is on food and that is what's most important to start with. A promising place, definitely worth a visit!

Six of us ventured into this famous chained establishment, six of us were pretty hacked off when we came out. Not that the pizzas we had were bad, they were pretty good to be honest, but the service was woeful. First we were made to sit in the reception for ten minutes to wait for a table, I donât mind doing this but the place wasnât even half full. When we got a table we ordered drinks, one of the party specifically asked for the Fanta, not the orange Fanta but what ever flavour the purple logo Fanta was. So the drinks order arrived with a Fanta orange. We still have no idea what the purple flavour was, the. Waitress couldnât be bothered to try to explain. She did however let us know that everything we wanted was not available! Apparently to have stuffed crust, thin base and a host of other types of base you need to order medium or large! Iâm not a big pizza eater but Iâm fairly sure you can have most combinations in the uk, but hey itâs ok this isnât the uk. I was fairly hungry so went for the thin base medium sized fiery chicken. All the smaller pizzas arrived and the party got stuck into them, mine being a bit bigger hadnât arrived. Everyone had finished theirs and still no sign of mine so we called the waitress over again, she had no recollection of me ordering a medium thin base, though never questioned the fact she only had five small pizzas for a table of six. She came back over with the order she had written and obviously had it written down judging by the awkward look on her face. All she did was look at me and say âten minutesâ not a sorry not an excuse nothing. Also the toilets were disgusting, apart from anyone using the urinals being in full view of the lobby when the door is opened, the place stunk to the point of making your eyes water. After I washed my hands I stuck them under the dryer..... nothing! Out of order. I can understand that things break down but câmon put some towels out. Pizza Hut, you need to police your franchiseâs a bit better and ensure they train their staff.

The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We sit right in the corner with the great view. Atmosphere was cool, pop songs playing in the background. And the food was superb. We got fried rice, kotthu, desserts and drinks and fries which were deliciously crispy. Everything was great and the prices are reasonable too.We highly recommend!

Turned up on a rainy day in Kandy and wasn't sure where to eat, was highly recommended "license to grill" and I'd definitely recommend it again! Food was probably the best me and my partner have had in Sri Lanka! Atmosphere and restaurant itself are super cool as it's up on the roof! The funky urban vibe is definitely one to visit! Amazing value for money and the staff were great! âââââ

This is a restaurant chain across the country run by the Ministry of Agriculture and owned by the government. They serve all traditional food and fresh fruit juices.Prices are very cheap and food is very clean and healthy. You need to pay and order. There are around 8 - 10 individual ladies selling their food and you need to pay separately at each counter. All outlets have a car park and toilets. This is one of my favorite stop overs when I travel outstation from Colombo.
