All Rita's serve the same institutional product. Although tasty and well liked by kids, it in no warrants an excellent rating. This particular place begins with an average rating based on the average product. However, one must consider all aspects of this particular establishment to formulate a reasonable rating. So, it started with three stars. Here is why I downgraded it by two stars and labeled it terrible: 1. You must stand outside to order. 2. There is not indoor seating. 3. Very limited outdoor seating in an environment that is not scenic or visually appealing. 4. Small parking lot that is a bit hairy to enter or exit due to the location on a corner of local highway and local access road. 5. Parking lot is perpetually dirty, strewn with rocks, potholes, and various garbage/debris. If you remove the five aforementioned facts, an average rating at best is appropriate.

Actually, I have not visited a Long John's in over 20 years. I found the food overly breaded and the hush puppies unappetizing. But today, we were in the area and it was quick and easy. So I was surprised to learn they no longer use as much breading on the fish. The hush puppies were still undesirable, but overall the food wasn't half bad. I opted for the fish and shrimp platter.

Same as every other DQ. This one has the following downfalls: very limited seating with the few seats clustered in a way that you have people standing in line right next to your table. Its only accessible from southbound side of Rt 61 in a very small stripmall. If you join their Blizzard club online you get some online deals and one for your birthday.

I have never been privy to a military discount at any McDonalds and not any other nationwide fast food chain I can remember. I asked for such a discount at this McD and they looked me like I was nuts. Typical teen workers and typical food. Only accessible from northbound Rt 61 but you can turn at a nearby intersection and enter.
