Unfortunately the Lee Garden has fallen off the edge of a cliff. The food was absolutely dreadful and waiting time too long for a pre-ordered collection. My wife threw most of the food out and wouldn't even feed it to our dogs. Yes, it was very, very bad.

My mother and I call into this restaurant for first time last Thursday and to be honest will not be returning. Coffee was ok and the scone was so hard, definately not fresh and waiting staff were quite rude(no please or thank you) BUT the food being served to other customers did look nice

This year sees the 30th birthday of this iconic restaurant. I can remember frequenting it in 1988 when I lived in the area. Then my favourite meal was chicken burger with the legendary scrumptious coleslaw, large curry chips and Coke. Iâve just had the said meal and it was delicious, exactly the same taste as 30 years ago. It cost £8.50 and they accepted â¬10!!! Hope itâs here in another 30.

Some elements were very good - Chips were great. The greasy, squishy type of chippy chips. Gravy was the lovely black chippy gravy d nice. But, unforgivably, the southern fried chicken was burnt. Like really black and burnt. Hard, dark, unchewable, horrendous. It went in thr bin. I couldn't even prise the meat off the bone with my hands for the dog. Malocca should be ashamed of themselves bagging up that garbage, handing it over smiling, knowing how a customer would feel when they discovered it at home. For shame!!!! For that reason I will never darken their door again. Just despicable.

We stopped here for lunch while shopping in Newry. It was busy when we were here but our order was taken really promptly and without exception any staff we dealt with were very friendly and efficient.The food is slightly dearer than other places but it was worth it for the quality of the food that we received.Our food arrived quickly and both our sandwiches were really enjoyable. There appeared to be a really good system in place amongst all the staff in that if one was delivering food and saw a table needing to be cleared, they did it there and then instead of passing it by and leaving it for someone else to clear.Definitely somewhere we will visit when we're in Newry again.

when you don't have too much to spend you can always depend on transylvania, as you can get well fed for less. Its open till late, even on holidays, while everything else is closed, which is great. Staff are very kind, always try to remember your order, so the next time you come, they would know what you want even if you don't know yourself. When you order for delivery, you get a free drink, as a regular customer you get a free drink as well, which is cool, as other places don't do anything like that. there is a lot of great food to choose from to suit everyone, even vegetarians and kids menu, the restaurant itself is nice and has a lot of space, so you are able to come with a big family or group of friends, it is perfectly located, very close to reach after a day of shopping to step by for some food, my experience with is place was very positive by far, so I would for sure recommend it, as me, my friends and family like getting food from there

Stopped by today not expecting it to be just as busy as it was place was flat out but after a brief wait playing in the garden with my wife and baby girl. We were seated and served very quickly. Good food great service lovely coffee definitely stop again

Wanted to get fish and chips for a number of us after visiting at the nearby Daisy Hill Hospital. This had been recommended to my sister in law and we were able to find it. Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and efficiency. Clearly popular and we thoroughly enjoyed our carry out.

Went to Dantes Mill with a big gang for Dinner, we were certainly not disappointed. Food was outstanding, pizzas were delicious & portions huge. Wings were amazing. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Prices were great too. An absolute Gem & will be back soon.. Highly Reccomend
