OK, if you are looking to immerse yourself in the culture on Nevis, head down to this BBQ Friday nights. It is simple (BBQ chicken and ribs) cold beer, music and lots of BBQ smoke. Tell them how many chicken legs and racks of ribs you want and they wrap it in foil and off you go with a cold beer in hand. Cheap and delicious! It is just up from the round about near the IGA on pump road.

Was getting later in the day & wanted to pick up local flavors for dinner. A hotel employee recommended Boddie's & to try mutton if I was adventurous. I am & so I ordered the delicious mutton stew w/ sides. Very tasty & tender, not gamey. And very generous portions at a very affordable price.

Our hotel bartender recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Silvestre, the owner/chef is a fabulous cook. Who has worked at the Four Seasons and in Chicago & Paris. The food is Carribean savory. We enjoyed a fabulous buffet of pork, beef, chicken, snapper & veggies. Full liquor bar too.
