Krispy Kreme doughnuts had the special for today where you purchase a dozen of doughnuts for regular price and pay $5 for a dozen of chocolate doughnuts. My husband and son love doughnuts, so this was their treat for tonight. The âHot and Nowâ sign was on, so they were really happy. They had doughnuts and drank milk on the way home. I skipped this treat since Iâm not a sweets person, but as usual KK was crowded and everyone was satisfied with their orders like us. We will definitely be back.
Where to eat Grill food in Miami Gardens: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Knowing this restaurant from the one in Nassau Bahamas( same owners ), my wife stopped in for take out.Pretty good menu variety. Everything is cooked to order so don't expect your order to pop right out.Fresh is worth waiting for.Cracked Conch snack (really big for a snack) $12.79Served with fries and a roll, it was tender.Fish Fingers (kingfish) served with fries and a roll $9.75.Both meats seemed to be coated with the same thing.Whether it be a batter or a powder mix, it needs to be seasoned more. VERY BLAND.Fries were OK but could have been cooked longer.Several sauces are available. Will go back to try something else.
The facility was very busy, and yet surprisingly clean. I had a chicken tropichop and ice tea. Cost $

I can't find a listing for the Pollo Tropical we visited near the Holiday Inn International Airport but as it's a chain I suppose they are all similar - except maybe the service. This one was fantastic. The service was quite good even though we were there at a very busy supper hour time. The menu is extensive and the food was so very yummy and inexpensive. Their specialty is tropical grilled chicken - and it is special! There's also Caribbean ribs and Mojo pork, yuca, plantains, black beans and rice, tres leches cake and guava cheesecake -- welcome to the delicious side of Miami.
