The Sava and Sora rivers join in Medvode, from which the town's name (which means 'between the waters') is derived. Two large factories, Color and Donit, are based in Medvode. The Sava River at Medvode is also the location of the Medvode Hydroelectric Power Plant. After the Second World War, a Yugoslav labor camp for political prisoners operated in Medvode.

Ansprechende Lokalität, auf Junge, v.a. Schüler ausgerichtet. So ist auch der Preis tief. Wir hatten Burger mit Pommes, welche ausgezeichnet waren. Aber auch die Pizzen sehen sehr lecker aus. Die sehr netten Besitzer des Restaurants runden das durchwegs positive Gesamtbild ab.

We were stopped here before go up to the castle.The service and the sausage was really good. The whole sausage with mustard , horseradish and a bun was 5,9â¬.You can pay by card.If you like sausage , give it a try.

Spring is here and Odprta kuhna is coming back to PogaÄarjev trg. We expect more interesting food for each taste. It will come from all sides of the world. Opening is dedicated to food from Slovenia. Križanke Summer festival was reserved for all hungry and thirsty visitors. Good start but can be improved.

Middle eastern fast food in the center, 200m away from main bus and train station. Quality homemade food, fresh and tasty. In spite of small entrance, there is more place in the next two floors to enjoy your meal in a warm atmosphere :) also lots of vegan

We were greeted with smiles and good service. Our falafal wraps were delicious and freshly prepared. It's not somewhere to spend long over dinner but if you want an excellent lunch or cheap dinner it's a perfect spot for a fulfilling and tasty experience. Cannot compliment the female staff member who served us enough - she was a delight!

When traveling the old state road from Ljubljana to northern Slovenia, you will not be sorry to stop by and take a quick snap at Grill Point. They know how to make a real burger with choped beef, chicken or pork meet, grilled on natural fire. If you have enough time to seat down, try their grilled meat, salads, fish & chips or grilled vegetable, you will not regret. To calm down the thirst, there is also a good choice of Slovenian wines, beers and some natural juices. And if you have luck with a weather and seating outside, you have a great view over some beautiful Slovenian mountains.
