Things to do in Liskeard
We came in search of pizzas but there was inside covering the window and lots of notices saying they are in the process of getting ready to serve chips. Nothing to clarify whether they are continuing to sell pizzas as well as chips. Nothing to reassure. Nothing to adequately explain. Liskeard has become quite interesting with the arrival of the Pizza franchise and also the big food pub both up the hill on the Main Street. If they put all the other food options on their mettle it has to be a good thing.
Cornwall's First fried ice cream rolls point of sale!! We are a family run business with the customers experience at it's Heat" YOU choice of what you want to make into ice cream"
Came by on last visit to Liskeard. Business appeared to have shut down. Eventually found the FB page in which the owners explain they will not be reopening this desert/ice cream cafe again but may in the future try to set up a mobile version.

Where to eat European food in Liskeard: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We had some of the pasties and quiches last year and they were excellent. Some of the best quiches we have had so well worth a visit. They will make them for larger events or if you phone the day before they will make the quiches to order, small and large.

Staying nearby for a few days and fancied a Chinese but didnât want takeaway. Hot Wok had ok reviews so decided to give it a go. At 6pm on a Saturday we were the only diners so the atmosphere was lacking but the takeaway was busy. Decor needs a bit of work but the staff were friendly and the food was good. Mixed starter was very tasty. Reasonable prices.

Basically served Nepalese food followed by traditional variety of Indian food. We use no artificial colourings or preservatives.all our spices are fresh and carefully crushed and ground to give the best possible taste.
Online ordering on the website was very frustrating as it took us about 20 mins to find and choose everything we wanted then filled in all our details and finally went to pay. We then had to wait several minutes for the restaurant to respond, which it didn't, to find online ordering doesn't work! The site should have an out of order sign or something so customers don't waste their time. However, after phoning the order through without a problem and waiting an hour till it was delivered most of the meals were good. The sauces were delicious but the lamb was dry, chewy and contained gristly bits! Lamb is usually quite tender so won't be trying that again!
