We enjoyed the barbacoa and chicken tacos. The staff are very friendly and the tacos ate delicious! Unfortunately the braised pork tacos were sold out. We would have loved to try those. In all a great shack to enjoy tacos and beer. Nothing beats that. Recommended.

If you never tried churros before in other parts of Latin-America or Spain, eating here will bring anywhere elseâs expectations down to the ground. Many people donât appreciate based on the reviews that although the dish is a simple one: fried dough, the way they make theirs is quite unique! Itâs a long croissant filled with cream and then fried. Nowhere else will you see this technique and the results are spectacular. The only thing missing is coffee or hit chocolate which I wished they serve. But no, just the churros and nothing else so take them to a cafe nearby and enjoy (or bing yours from elsewhere) plus they are just 2 soles (0.60 USD) you will NEVER find anything this good anywhere in Peru for that price! So for all those people leaving a bad review...câmon these are the best spent 0.60 cents anywhere!

Our Guide recommended La Lucha - even the specific sandwich! The staff at our Hotel asked us how we had enjoyed La Lucha. It's a local institution, and reliable. Portions are massive, and the location we visited in Miraflores was jammed with happy folks enjoying the beach, the sun, and the shopping. La Lucha goes on our list of reliable, good food - we'll order more moderately next time - one portion easily serves two normal persons. And the beer is cold.
