Very friendly welcome, clean shop and waiting area but best of all - wonderful fish and chips.Generous portions of perfectly cooked chips and good sized tasty Haddock fillets in lovely crispy batter cooked fresh to order.It's the little things that matter, like putting a fat chip on top of the fish before wrapping it so the paper does not stick to the batter. Simple but effective.The shop is on a busy corner but don't do what I did and park on the pavement because there is ample parking behind the shop.I've eaten fish and chips all over this country (and abroad) and I rate Polcaro's as one of the best. Go on, try it, you'll be glad you did.

Staff always friendly & professional. Really fresh & tasty ingredients. I've got fish & chips & also all variety of kebabs from either the takeaway or had it delivered with no issues. Looking forward to ordering from there soon. Would recomend

For the last several months this place has gone down hill. The chicken and rib meal has gone down to one rib.....The chips donât taste half a good as they used to ie: they havenât got that herby taste...And well tonight the ribs were disgusting tasted like the bbq sauce was burnt. Wonât be using these anymore.
